You Could Save Me

Phil's POV
I woke up, my body aching. I turned over to face Josh, my boyfriend. He looked okay while he was sleeping. Innocent, even. I had spent the night at his as I had been over here after we went to the cinema and, well, my body was too sore to go back home.

Josh has a bit of a quick temper. It all started one night after a party. We were walking home, and lets just say I'd had a little too much to drink.
Josh wasn't exactly sober either but he hadn't had as much as me. I fell on the pavement, and whimpered in pain. Josh told me to get up. I tried but, because I was drunk, fell over again. Josh was not impressed.
"Phil, get the fuck up!"
I was a bit surprised as he didn't usually curse, but I tried again.
However, no matter how hard I tried, I just kept falling back down.
And that's when I felt it.
A kick to the ribs.
At first I was in shock, and then I started to cry. Josh was usually so lovely, I just couldn't understand why he would do this!
He grabbed me by the scruff of the neck and lifted me up.
I ran away as fast as a drunk can, all the way back to the apartment I shared with my best friend Dan Howell.

(Dans POV)
I remember that night.
I was in bed, scrolling through tumblr, feeling sorry for myself because my best friend actually had a social life and had gone to a party and left me.
"Don't be stupid Dan, he has a boyfriend and other friends beside you, don't act like a jealous 14 year old girl!"
I heard the door open and jumped out of bed, excited to see Phil.
I slowed my pace when I got to the hallway, not wanting to seem too eager and scare him off completely.
However, when I got to the kitchen, I seen Phil sitting on a chair, leaning over the table, with shaking shoulders and loud sobs coming from his mouth.
"Phil!!!" I ran towards my best friend
"What's wrong?"
