Body Like A Back Road

Chapter 3

                                                                         Taylor's POV

I woke up thinking about Laura, I had fallen asleep texting her. I checked my phone, the last text was from her it read "I think you fell asleep, good night sleepy head x" I sighed feeling like an asshole. "Sorry, yeah I fell asleep. Do you think you could pick me up in an hour, so we can go to work together?" I texted back. I had a quick shower and got changed into skinny jeans and a white tank top. I checked my phone again, I had a text from Laura; "Yeah of course, I'll see you soon". With 40 minutes to spare I put on a light layer of makeup and curled my hair slightly. Looking at the time, I saw I had 20 minutes to wait. I sat by my front window watching the street the whole time I waited, as I saw her park she took her helmet off just as the early morning sun hit her face, my jaw dropped, no one had ever seemed so flawless to me. I moved away from the window to make sure it didn't look like I was waiting. As I heard her knock on my door my heart skipped a beat, I took my time opening the door, despite trying to keep up my act I gave myself away "Laura!" I exclaimed as I threw my arms around her.

                                                                             Laura's POV

"I saw you watching me from your window" I said raising an eyebrow "guilty as charged but l I wouldn't want to be waiting for anyone else" she said before pulling me into a kiss. "You're adorable but we have to go" I replied, I put my helmet over Taylor's head, "Come on, Jenji will kill us if we're late" I said grabbing her by the hand and leading her outside.

We arrived at work and Taylor and I headed to our separate trailers. I sat down and texted Natasha, who plays Nicky, "Are you here yet?" she replied quickly with; "Yeah. Why?". "Come to my trailer?" I asked. Five minutes passed before I heard a knock on the door, I opened the door to see Natasha with Yael, who plays Lorna, in tow. I shook my head and laughed, "Of course you brought Yael with you", I let them in and closed the door. "So why'd you ask me to come here?" Natasha asked her brown eyes meeting mine, "Honestly, I was just bored". Natasha and Yael shared a look, "What's going on with you and Taylor?" Yael questioned. "What? Nothing" I replied feeling my face heat up. Natasha and Yael shared a look again before Natasha said "Show her" "Show me what?" I asked confused. Yael pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket with a picture on it and hand it to me. I looked at the picture; it was Taylor and I on my motorcycle. "Yeah, we went to get coffee after work once" I shrugged as I handed the picture back. "I don't know Taylor's arms seem a little low around your waist" Natasha said smirking. "I don't know what to tell you, there's nothing going on between Taylor and me" I lied through my teeth. There was a knock at the door "Come in" I called, the door opened and Taylor walked in. I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose. "Taylor!" Yael said overly loud, "What's going on in here?" I heard Taylor ask before I opened my eyes to see her looking at me, I smiled slightly at her. "Right, 'nothing'" Natasha said sarcastically before Yael and her left. "What was that about?" Taylor asked as she sat down on the couch next to me. "Oh they think something's going on between us" I replied "Well isn't there?" she replied with a sly smile before she hovered her lips over mine, "I mean it seems like there's something going on here to me" she said with her lips still hovering over mine. I looked from her eyes to her lips, she bit her lip just to tease me, I couldn't take it I pulled her into a feverish kiss, I ran my fingers through her hair and pulled it slightly, Taylor disconnected her lips from mine, gave me the sexiest look I could possibly imagine and started kissing my neck causing me to moan slightly. Through heavy breaths I said "Taylor, you have no idea how much I want you right now but not here". She stopped kissing my neck, sighed and said "You're right". "What's your first scene today?" I asked "It's a scene with Uzo on the track. What's yours?" Taylor replied. "A scene in the laundry room with Natasha" I said giving her a kiss on the cheek. Taylor and I talked until there was yet another knock at the door "come in" I called. It was a PA (Production assistant) "Laura you're wanted in makeup" she said, "Okay, thanks" I replied before she left. I looked over at Taylor who was pouting, "I'm sorry. You can stay here if you want but I have to go" I said giving her a quick kiss before I left.
