Hinata sat next to her father as the meeting progressed. Across from her, a man in a business suit named Itachi, was explaining the contract to his younger brother. She knew better than to talk. Even if there was, she knew she couldn't talk her way out of this one. The contract was sealed. Sasuke, however, questioned the contract. He questioned why he had to do it. He questioned if it would really help their business. He questioned Hiashi. He was a brave man, Hinata decided.

The rules to the contract were simple.

1) The marriage shall take place between the eldest daughter of the owner of Hyuuga Manufacturing company and the second son of the Uchiha Auto Parts company.  (That meant that even though Hinata was the heir to the company she wouldn't be marrying the Uchiha heir.)

2) No sexual contact until after the marriage has been officated.

3) The marriage can not be voided by divorce unless a heir has been produced for the Hyuuga company.

4) If the marriage is voided by divorce, the one (Hyuuga or Uchiha) who voided the marriage will lose 50% of their company to the other company.

5) Cheating will void the contract causing any agreement between the two companies to be voided as well. This in turns gives all money made between the two companies before the time of the cheating to the one who was cheated on.

Hinata cringed at the thought of losing the company, but even more so at the thought of marrying the dark haired man across from her. He would have been handsome if it wasn't for their given situation. He had semi-shaggy hair that seemed like it could put midnight to shame. His eyes were a hard brown that seemed to never come out of the glare that was focused on the paper before him.

"So, if I marry this girl, then our companies will combine into one?" Sasuke focused the question at this brother. Itachi sighed. This would be the third time that he explained this.

Hinata's father cut in, "In short, yes. Hinata is the heir to my company. Marrying her would be a dream come true for any man." Sasuke grunted.

Hinata felt her hands clench her pencil skirt. This man seemed so angry. Why did she have to be born first? Why couldn't it be Hanabi?

The discussion continued for thirty more minutes before Itachi and Hiashi stood to shake hands. Hinata's eyes difted over to the man she was now engaged too. No doubt there would be a staged engagement where she would pretend to be over joyed by the fact she was getting married.

Sasuke stared bullets at the woman in front of him. She hadn't said a word the entire time they were here. No doubt the contract had been drilled into her head since she was a child. He doubt she would even protest if he said to get down and lick his shoes. He bet she had no will of her own.

He admitted, though, that she had a body that could rock any man's world. That was pretty clear even with her just sitting across from him. She would be the perfect bride for any man. Quiet, obedient, and smoking hot. He caught her looking through her lashes at him, almost as if she were trying to be seductive in this small room.

"Its a pleasure doing business with you. Perhaps we should leave the couple alone for a minute," Hiashi smiled. Itachi nodded and they walked out chattering about future weddings and children.

Hinata softly smiled at the strange man across from her. She would try to make things as pleasant as possible between the two. She knew he probably already hated her. She hated herself for agreeing to do this. All she wanted in life was to make her father happy. But ever since her mother had passed away, Hiashi couldn't even look at her or her younger sister without seeing the woman he loved. And she couldn't look at herself without seeing it either.

Sasuke stood and walked around the table that separated the two. He wanted to see her reaction to him up close. He knew he could melt most women in their shoes with just one look. This woman would be no different then the sluts he fucked on the regular. Hmm, guess I'll have to give that up now, he thought.

True he was a player but he knew the value of marriage. Even if it was arranged. His mother would have been disappointed in him if he cheated on this woman. That being said they weren't married or even engaged yet. They were engaged to BE  engaged.

He bent down in front of her and watched as she stared at him with a fake smile plastered on her face. Her hair was placed in a high bun with bangs falling just above her eyelashes. Staring at her, he realized she would make him give everything up. She was the type of girl who wanted marriage and babies and love.  Something this marriage would not give her. He knew she would be unhappy in this marriage just like him.

Oddly that thought made him happy. She wouldn't get any enjoyment out of this like him.

"Hello," she almost whispered. She was nervous. No doubt she had fears he would be a woman beater. Maybe she was praying that he would cheat on her so she could get out of the contract. Well tough fucking luck, honey, you're stuck with me for the long run.

He smirked at her and put one hand under her chin, "Hey there, babe." Her faced flushed dark red and her smile faltered.

Hinata couldn't believe he just jumped  into their "relationship" like that. She felt the warm hand under her chin and had to resist the urge to jerk away. She had never really had a boyfriend. Or more, she had never a serious relationship.

This contract had been drilled into her head even before her mother had died. Somewhere in her childhood she had let herself believe this would be a good thing. She believed that they could fall in love. Make a real  marriage out of something horrible. So she had stayed a virgin.

But looking at this man in front of her. That smirk. That evil  smirk proved to her that they could never fall in love. They would never love each other. Their relationship would be made purely on lust. And Hinata knew they would have sex. There was no way around it. She just didn't know if she was ready. I'm going to need a serious amount of alcohol on our wedding night.

Suddenly, the dark hair man bent down low and brushed his lips against hers. It wasn't her first kiss but it was her first with the man she would spend the majority of her life with.  Her heart fluttered. His lips tasted like tomatoes. Her head started to spin. And then he pulled away.

"So, how do you want me to propose?" Sasuke's smirk grew bigger.
