THE MAGIC REALM

PROLOGUE

Daniels POV

"bye honey " i called out as i shut our front door , she didnt even bother to respond , you see things  have being quite rough at home, ever since our son tyler drowned

Flash back

"Mommy daddy!"  My 6 yr old daughter ellie called, "not now ellie " i said kissing my wife  lola's neck, she moaned , then we heard a scream ,"  what was that " my wife said .she got up and slipped  on her gown ,  she  peeked out of the door and sreamed , she then fell to the to the floor on her knees, i rushed past her and nearly screamed at what i saw, a man held a bloody ellie with a knife in her shoulder , he looked in my direction and smirked  right before he pulled the knife out ,threw the knife  away and jumped out of the window in the hallway , i chased after him but stoped when i saw  the bathroom  door  open , my curiosity got the best of me and i walked inside and saw my son tyler tied down by a bunch of ropes  to the bathtub he was under the water and wasnt moving ,i rushed over to him and shook him ,he was not  moving so i searched  for a pulse and found none ,i ran down stairs  ignoring my wife who was bawling  over ellies body , ellie was still moving though that was good,on my way down i saw a guy with a knife in his neck, i called 911 and told them everything , i ran back upstairs  and went to the bathroom , i drained the water and untied the ropes , i cradled  tyler in my chest and cried out bitterly , my wife rushed in with ellie   in her arms . I looked at both of my children ,one badly injured and the other one DEAD , dead kept ringing in my ears for the next few  munites .

However the night ended with me riding in the back of the ambulance  vehicle with my kids getting medical attention  while  my wife   recalled what happened in tears to the cops

Any ways  tyler was buried the following week, ellie healed from the injury and wouldn't  talk to anybody for 6 weeks,

End of flash back

I unlucked my black SUV and called out "ellie! You coming  "  "yes daniels , I'll  be right down" ellie shouted dragging four bags down with her , you are probably   wondering why ellie is calling me  daniels ,you see after lola and i had tyler we couldn't  have more kids so we adopted ellie , she used to call us mommy and daddy before the tyler incident  , but after that she just  calls us by our names

Ellie got in and shut the door ,then she pulled out her phone and and started texting, after a while she spoke up , "daniels can we stop by the cemetery  i got something  i have to talk about with tyler" she said not even looking up from her phone, i sighed " ellie we have talked about this  , tyler is dead , he cant hear you _____ "but" i was cut of by ellie ," no buts i 'd appreciate  it if you stop reminding me about  my dead son " i snapped

ELLIE'S POV

" i know tyler  is dead but i also know he can hear me, maybe if you had answered me that night when i called you  and lola instead of having sex maybe  tyler won't  be dead and i wouldn't  have being stabbed !" I snapped  back,
"as your dad ------ he Started but i interupted  "guardian " i corrected "thats it give me your phone" he demanded with his hand stuck out , i looked him in astonishment before  i said in disbelief " y-y-y-you cant d-d-do that , you know emily's suprise birthday is next week and i 've been assigned  to work on the guest list  and all the contacts are on my phone and------- i was cut short by him snatching my phone away and giving his full concentration to the road. "I hate you  , you  are the worst gaurdian ever" !i spat out with so much venom , it made him flinch "dad" he corrected , i hissed, curled my self up in a ball and cried  myself to sleep thinking about tyler

DANIEL'S POV

I snapped at ellie and took her phone i probably shouldn't  have done  that,but  she is  so stubborn  sometimes ,that i have no choice  .i just hope she can forgive me maybe a trip to the cemetery  can make her forgive me ,my family is broken and its all my fault! I just hope things  can get better, if only i had just answered ellie that day my beloved tyler would still be by my side today going on this trip with ellie and i ,maybe even lola would come .i sighed running a hand through my  jet black hair similar to that of tyler , he also had my bright green eyes that dulled any time i got angry or sad, lola on the other hand has long strawberry blonde hair and 2 eye colours, blue on one eye and green on the other eye ,ellie was totally different  not even one similarity with any of us which made sense cause  she's adopted ,  she has platinium blonde hair which is her natural hair colour and icy blue eyes, she always was special and she could always do weird things  like one time when she said  she wanted a pb and j sandwich,  but there was no jelly then she said" i want jelly" !  but when  i opened the fridge again i saw  jelly......................... that story is for another day . i sighed looking at my watch  that was secured snuggly across my well tanned and muscled arms , I'm not the  average dad with a big belly and fat fingers no no no im well fit and muscular,  i hope i still have time to go to the cemetry.

Hey so how was the epilouge  was it good?  I hope it was.anyways i introduced you guys to the main character ellie!  And heres a sneak peak of the next chapter of the  next  chapter in ellies POV

Ellie : hello! where am i, daniels ! Where are you...... damn it !answer  me ,where are you dad (looking  down in sadness)
(A strange figure comes out of nowhere )
Strange figure: i know where your real daddy is follow me (walks away)
Ellie:what are you talking about ,my real dad is dead, hey get back here!(scurries after the figure)
