Chapter 2

Rebecca Ray

We reached in front of the school. All heads turned as we went out of the car. Joe, Alex, Britney and Emily decided to come with us. You can say that they're the hottest in school. We werewolves are gorgeous and hot. That explains why boys and always drooling around Britney and Emily. Same goes for the girls towards Joe, Alex and Kyle. I'm new to this school cause I shift in only last summer. Since Kyle and I just found out that we're mates just this morning, we didn't tell anyone except for Joe. Kyle told Joe about us being mates. Britney MUST NOT know that we're mates or else things would go bad. Britney likes Kyle and she thinks that he is her mate.

"Becca?" I blink and look at Kyle. He has a concern look fixed on his face.

"Yes?"

"Nothing. Come on let's go. The bell rang 5 minutes ago." He pulled into the office to get my schedule. I feel the electric shocks and tingles again. I ignore them. Kyle is in every of my class. Yay! Hehe. 

This is the schedule I got :

Free Period

History

Lunch

Calculus

Chemistry

As soon as we got near the class, Kyle let go of me and walked in. Mr White, our english teacher was already inside. I can see all the girls, except Emily, was smiling at Kyle and giggling to get his attention. I then walked into class. All the guys, except Joe, Alex and Kyle, was whistling at me to get my attention.

"Alright class, settle down. We got a new student here. Miss Ray, please introduce yourself dear." I nod.

"Hello." The guys in class said 'Hello' with wide smiles and some even said 'Welcome to Red Rose High' while the girls just glared at me.

"I'm Rebecca Ray. You can call me Becca for short. I shift in to this town  only last summer due to some family reason. I hope to get along with all of you and enjoy the year." I smile sweetly causing the guys to drool. Suddenly, Britney stood up.

"Hey Becca! Drop the act. We all know I'm the hottest here so you don't have to act all sweet to win over them. As you can see, the girls here don't really appriciate you being here. So you better wa--"

"That's enough, Britney! Don't be all stuck up and ruin Rebecca's first day. This is your first warning! Same goes for all of you. If any of you hurt Rebecca, prepare yourself to be suspended." He growled. I can smell that Mr White is a werewolf. I smile weakly at Mr White and walk to my sit at the back of the class next to Emily. She smiled at me and leaned in to whisper.

"Ignore Britney. She's just jealous that you got the attention and that she'll loss her rank in school. As you can see, she likes Kyle and she notice that you and Kyle is having a strong bond and that she's afraid that she'll lose Kyle to you. You see, Kyle has never been smiling that wide until you came, Becca. Thanks."

"Rebecca and Emily, please focus." He shot us a stern look. We nodded and he got back to his Lecture.

I didn't knew class had ended when the bell rang and the class grew noisy. Did I mention that Joe, Alex, Britney and Emily is also in every of my class? Well they are. I sat at my sit with my head against the table.

"Hey Sweetheart. You free tonight?" I look up to see that James Lautner, was sitting across me. I was about to answer him when I heard a loud growl. I turn to see Kyle glaring at James from behind my seat. I sniffed secretly and I can tell that James is also a werewolf. James got up from his seat and went to Kyle's sit.

Kyle Evans

"Chill down, Alpha. I was just messing around. No need to get all worked up." he said.

"Look Lautner, I don't mind you being friendly with her but if you hurt her, you better watch out." I said sternly. He shivered and nod and walk back to Becca.

"Hey Becca. Sorry for calling you sweetheart. I was just messing around. Uhm. Hey, you got anyone to dance for today's party in the pack house?" I stay at my seat. I can hear him clearly thanks to my werewold ability.

"Oh..I don't know. Maybe we can have a little fun." She said sweetly. God! Only if I were the person she's tallking to now, I'd be freaking happy!

Dance with her. I want my mate to dance with me. I don't care. You have to dance with her. At least one song!  My wolf beg me.

Fine. Only one song alright? I don't wanna embarrass myself with a tomato face. I can feel my wolf happily dancing. I chuckled softly.

The rest of the period and History I day-dream alot. The bell rang. Now it's lunch. I got up from my seat and went out the door. I turn around looking for Becca worried that she doesn't have someone to eat with. Relief washed over me when I see her with Emily. I walked my way to the cafeteria and went to take a Burger with Soda. I went  back to my sit and noticed that Emily and Becca was making their way to the park at the front of our school. Becca and Emily are eating sandwich today with a carton of juice. I sat at my usual sit with Joe, Alex, Britney and James. The table is sadly only for the cool and hot kids. I'm not saying that Becca and Emily aren't but it's just that today they aren't sitting together with us. I was eating when I heard a loud laughter. The laugh was sweet and enjoyable to hear. I look out the cafeteria and noticed that Emily and Becca are now at the swing, playing and laughing their heads off. I chuckled softly. Everyone at my table gave a confused look. I smiled at them and pick up my tray. They, too, follow me put their tray. After putting our tray, I jog my way to the park and sat at a nearby bench, looking at Becca. Becca must have sense me looking and stop. She got down from the swing and came to me.

"Hello." She smile sweetly. God! I'm melting inside. The tingles and electric shocks came again. I feel complete with her just standing in front of me.

"Hey. What are you wearing for tonight's party?"

"I'm sorry. I can't tell you. Emily and I are going shopping after school to buy a dress." She look and me apologetically.

I shrugged. "Guess I have to wait til' tonight then."

She laughed softly. "Think so."

"Becca! Lunch is over let's go!" Emily shouted. She smile evilly at me and took Becca away. She must have known that Becca and I are mates. I guess that's okay. Damn. I have to wait til' tonight to see her dress. I got up from my seat and walked back to class. Calculus. I feel so bored. Every chances I have when Miss Bell is not looking, I would sneak glances at Becca. She's focusing on her work. I look at her for a little longer.

"Mr Evans, can you stop staring at Miss Ray? You'd get distracted." Shit. I got caught. Now the whole class is staring at me. The girls and glaring at Becca. Jealous, maybe. I nod at Miss Bell. Becca was not looking at me, face red. She gave me small smile. I'm melting! An hour passed and soon the bell rang.

An hour more, Kyle and school's over and you can get yourself ready and looking hot for Becca. Just chill. My wolf chuckled at me.

I sat at class counting every minute the clock make. 55 minutes passed. I stare at the clock.

"Staring at the clock won't make it move faster, Alpha." Alex said through our mind.

"I wished it could. I can't wait to see Becca for the party. I won't get to see her til' tonight."

"You like her dude?" The bell rang. Thank god it saved me from the awkward moment.
