I pull over to the side of the road and get out of the car, flinching as a car speeds by. The closer I get, I notice that it's a red duffel bag.
I tap the bag with my shoe and hear a yelp. I open the bag and gasp.
7 great dane newborn puppies where stuffed inside. By the looks, only two of them were still alive. I pick up the bag and get into my car.

I sit and lone in the pet hospital waiting room.
" umm, miss Clarke," a man in a white smock asks. I never noticed him there
" yes sir, " I say politely
" it seems that you found these two just in time. We will get their shots and you can take them." he said
I didn't protest.
I thought of how my parents left me.
they can't take care of themselves.

I sign the papers and get their names assigned.
