I went inside to see my mom watching her novela I tried to get through while making no noise do not mess with a Latina mother and her kids or novelas

Mom:hey what snacks did you get

Me:I got takis and Arizona what are u cooking

Mom:some rice and meat I gotta go food shopping I'll go later tonight

Me:alright Ill be right back(I said as I was trying to go to me room)

Mom:wait get over here colombiana

I walked down the stairs slowly

Me:who?

Mom:I know you met them guys today I saw you in front the house

Me:oh

Mom:the good thing is you are making friends already

Me:not only that the're having a block party and they invited me

Mom:that's good you're not going

Me:ok thanks ma

Mom:your curfew is 11:30

I say as I kiss her cheek 😘

I went upstairs to look for my outfit and everything I had naturally curly hair that was chest length so I put it in rollers so I can have wavy hair for. The night for my makeup i didn't do that since I'm not suppose to use it I just put mascara and lip gloss as for my outfit I had white jeans with sandals and a royal blue tank top with a leather pocket on the right side of the tank top

I was watching a novela with my mom in the living room till I heard the doorbell I went to answer the door to see Eli and Khalil

Khalil:hey you ready

Me:yeah let's go

I grabbed my keys and phone and we head out

We walked about three blocks and reached a house and it look like this was gonna be lit

Ej:alright so like since your new and everything were just gonna introduce you to our friends

Me:ight

Khalil just went off somewhere so Eli introduced me to his friends

Eli:so these are my friends Daniel Jeremy julia heaven and shi guys this is Jennifer but call her colombiana

When I tell you this song gets me in my feelings IT GETS ME IN MY FEELINGS

Me:of course

Eli:isn't there a dance to this

Me:yea bachata

Eli:can I learn it

Me: of course you can

He held out his hand for me to grab and I grabbed it proudly while he directed me to the dance floor

Me:ok let's just learn the basics try to copy my foot movement

Eli nodded as ok saying ok

Me:that's just the basics

Eli:well when are you gonna teach me real moves

Me:when ur ready

Eli:well let's dance some more I want practice

Me:ok

Just then the song obsession by aventura this song was a little faster so you could do more moves with it

Me:wait you said you wanted to learn more moves

Eli:yea

Me:ok let's do the basics but try to do it a little faster and put ur hands on my hips

Eli:ight I got this

He started doing what I said and he was doing pretty good he even surprised me by turning me around against him so my back was facing him and he had his hands on my hips while we did the basics he even spinned me around a few times

Me:while your pretty good

I said while looking down on my wrist watch it read 11:00

Eli:thanks you too......wanna go to the bar

Me:naw I don't drink

Eli:I think they got other stuff there

Me:ok

We made it to the bar and I just ordered an iced tea he ordered some kind of drink I don't know what it was then we started talking

Eli:so where you from

Me:............you guys call me colombiana

Eli:oh yeah I forgot sorry

Me:where are you from

I checked the time on my watch it said 11:26

Me:I got to get home

Eli:I walk you there some creeps out it this time of night

Me:haha

We talked as he walked me home

Now we are at my doorstep

Me:thanks for walking me home

Eli:thanks for teaching me bachata

Eli:wait can I get your number your really cool

Me:sure

I gave him my number

Just as I opened my door he kissed me on my cheek and left I turned and didn't see him anywhere I went inside and the tv and the kitchen light was on I slid my back my back against the closed door and let out a slight sigh

My mom came in from the kitchen

Mom:what are you doing

Me:nothing what are you doing

Me:ok

As I went upstairs to get in my pjs my phone went off

I saved his number and spend the rest of the night eating takis and watching tv
