Chapter 5

1 month later~

Deep... 

Slow... 

Breaths.

Jimin lays on one of the beds. 

Staring at the roof of his room. 

Bags underneath his eyes from no sleep. 

How he craved sleep...

How is he even alive? 

Surely there must be a scientific reason where, if you don't have enough sleep your body can start to shut down.

He has been repeating the same things for the whole month.

Over and over again.

Stay up all night, 

Eat breakfast, 

Cry, 

Eat lunch, 

Cry, 

Eat dinner, 

Cry, 

Stay up all night... and so on.

He was so exhausted he could feel anything. 

He couldn't move. 

He could try to touch his other hand but he wouldn't be able to feel himself. 

Its like he was a ghost.

*DING DING DING*

"Please exit your rooms and follow the lighted pathway." The speaker says 

"YEAH! I GOT IT OK!?!" Jimin yells at the speaker in rage.

"Stupid ass bitch..." He then mumbles.

He slowly gets up and drags his lifeless body through the hallway and to the rest of the test subjects, to "eat".

Jimin sits down next to Jhope.

He gave up saying hi or speaking to him about 2 weeks ago.

"HEY HYUNG!" Jhope once again says with a massive smile across his face.

Jimin hears him but doesn't respond.

Jhope's smile turns into a worried frown.

"Why are you like this? Why do you ignore me? Did I do something wrong? Was it-" Jhope rambles on in worry but gets cut off by Jimin.

"No...you didn't do something wrong. I'm sorry if it seems like I'm ignoring you but I...I just..." 

Jimin said ever so weakly.

He finally gave in. 

He felt so bad and he didn't realise he had hurt Hoseok that much. 

He felt like a crap friend.

"You just what?" Jhope asked feeling and looking a little bit happier because his best friend was finally speaking to him again.

"I just...am so tired." Jimin replies with a sigh.

"Tired of what, hyung?"

"Everything..." Jimin says poking his food, that he hadn't taken a bite out of, with a fork.

There is a small moment of silence but Hoseok quickly breaks it.

"Also, why haven't you eaten?" 

"Uhh...I'm not hungry. I lost my appetite when I came here." Jimin replies with his voice sounding a bit shaky.

"Since you came here? But that was a month ago!" Jhope says raising voice a little, "You were eating when we first came, but as time goes on, you eat less and less everyday. But for the past few days you have stopped."
