Oh... Well this is awful.

Percy's POV

"No way! Percy!" My friend Aaron yelled, charging me, along with my other friend Travis.

I had just come back from the war with Gaea after going missing for a few months. They tackle hugged me when they spotted me walk into the school. Everyone was shocked.

"I though you moved man!" Travis said, clapping me in the back. "Where did you go!?"

"Eh..." I thought of an excuse real quick. "My mom had a business meeting thing for her book and we went out of state."

"I can tell you're lying bro." Aaron said, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow at me.

"I'm not, just really exited to see you!" I said, pulling them into headlocks.

"Ugh! When did you get so strong?!" Travis yelled, attempting to pull my arm away.

"What do you mean? You're just to tackling each other, not a super ripped guy such as myself!" I teased.

"Hey!" Aaron and Travis yelled in unison and we all started to laugh.

"Hey baby." I heard a voice say behind me. I groaned and turned around, seeing Nancy Bobofit.

"One, don't you get tired of asking me out? Two, I have a beautiful, loving, intelligent girlfriend, so buzz off." I growled.

"You have a girlfriend!?" I heard a squeal from behind me. I turned back around and saw my other friend, Emmy, bouncing up and down.

"Hey Emmy!" I yelled.

"Hey Percy! Now you need to tell me all about your girlfriend!" She squealed. I chuckled and let the boys out of their headlocks.

They fell to the floor, holding there necks. "Ah C'mon! I made a few friends on my moms business trip and we played really rough! That is nothing compared to being set of fire, or someone electrocuting you! Or judo flipping you, though that's my girlfriends job..." I said thoughtfully.

"Your girlfriend can judo flip you?!" Travis yelled, picking himself up off the floor.

"Heck yes. It hurts!" I exclaimed.

"We need to catch up! See you at our normal table at lunch!" Emmy said, running off somewhere. I bell rang and I cursed under my breath.

"Bye Aaron! Bye Travis!" I yelled, running to English with my step dad. He hasn't seen me, nor knows If I'm alive.

I walked into the classroom and Paul didn't look up. "Try to be a bit earlier... next... time..." He said as he looked up.

His jaw dropped and he pulled me into a hug. I could feel tears soaking through my shirt. "Percy! You're alive!" He yelled, pulling my back so he could get a good look at me.

"It was hard, but I'm alive! You can't kill a Jackson that easily!" I exclaimed, laughing a bit. Paul laughed as well.

"I just... after so many months..." He said, smiling broadly. "Anyway." He cleared his throat and I saw the students were staring at us, super confused.

"Have a seat anywhere Percy." He told me. I nodded and sat in the back row, trying to focus, since it was my stepdads class.

It wasn't easy and I ended up zooming out anyway. "Percy?" He called. I shook my head and looked up, smiling apologetically.

He sighed and shook his head, smiling, then went back to teaching about what the difference between a colon and a semicolon or something, I don't know.
