''WELCOME, ONE AND ALL, TO RIVERDALE'S SEVENTY FIFTH ANNIVERSARY JUBILEE CELEBRATION!''

There was a round of applause that erupted from the crowd as Elizabeth Cooper, Hazel Michael, Francis Michael, Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge, and Josie and the Pussycats stood back stage, watching Mayor McCoy stand behind the podium as she announced, ''I couldn't be any more thrilled to introduce my daughter, Josie and her Pussycats, as they perform alongside our local hero, Archie Andrews!''

There was another round of applause emerging while Josie and the Pussycats and Archie Andrews walked on to the stage.

''Hi, everyone,'' Josie greets into the microphone as her mother walks of the stage. ''We're switching things up tonight. We are singing a song that my boy, Archie Andrews, wrote. So..''

Josie and Archie switched places, allowing the red head to be in control as the lead.

A soft melody played at the beginning. He starts singing, ''Every moment we're together, is a moment I remember..''

''Hazel,'' Veronica softly called. The brunette had her arms folded across her chest when turning to her, the small smile on her lips never wavering as she hums her response. ''I don't like not being able to talk to each other. You know, I like being able to come to you about anything and rationing out all the wrongs to right, just as I hope you want to do with me.''

She turns to face her completely. ''Of course.''

''But, when you didn't tell me,'' She shakes her head in a subtle motion. ''I don't want you to be afraid of what'll happen to us. It is always sisters before misters.'' She cocks a brow smirking, ''Okay?''

She nods her head, giggling. ''Okay.''

Betty watched the two as the engulfed each other in a hug.

Hazel waves her over. ''Get in here, Bets.''

A chuckle falls from her lips as she walks into the open arms that were so welcoming from Veronica and Hazel.

This sort of friendship felt good. Something about the temporary dilemma of a love triangle seemed to have made their friendship stronger. And knowing Hazel has people she could count on, made it all the more better.

Even Francis ended up depending on the group, growing just as close with them as Hazel was.

''Ah,'' A sigh falls from Hazel's lips as the pull apart. ''As long as we're on the subject of being able to talk to each other..'' She lifts her gaze up to meet Veronica's gaze. ''Archie wants to be with me.''
