CHAPTER SEVEN

Gabby's PoV

Taylor and I finally made it to the quick care clinic where are now. Sitting, waiting. 

"Mr. Caniff?" a big burly man called out from behind the door. we both stood up, Taylor helping me onto my feet, stilla bit shaky. "Lets get you checked out." The doctor said again leading us into a small room. 

"I will be right back." he turned to exit. "I'll get some bandages and a better brace for you." he said then walking out of t he room. 

"Rufus." Taylor said 

"Rufus?" I said furrowing my eyebrows. "Yeah, Rufus." He said cracking a small grin. I havent seen him genuinely smile since MagCon. "Who the hell is Rufus?" I said making my voice go a little high.

"The doctor." he said slightly chuckling and shaking his head. "Who in their right mind names thier son Rufus?" He said laughing more looking down slightly. "Unless your son is a dog." I said causing him to burst into a fit of laughter. I joined him. We would stop laughing, look at eachother and begin again, ocasionally saying 'Rufus' while laughing. 

Gathering ourselves Taylor walked towads me wiping away the tears on my face with his thumb. "Gabby," He said looking at me in some sort of shock. "Do you wear contacts?" he said leaning in closer examining my eye. 

"Ye-Oh shit." I said clawing at me eye attempting to pull the small piece of circular plastic out of it. Taylor fell back into another fit of laughter. "Stop its not funny!" I said clawing more desperately at my pained runny eye. "Yes it is." He said blankly, desprately trying to keep a straight face. 

I pulled both out of my eyes, There was lots of screaming and hastle along the way, but taylor had to attempt to pull one out. That didnt work well. 

"I think you have an eye infection, Gab." he said sitting next to me on the examining table. 

"Dont. Call. Me. Gab." I said snarling slightly at him. "That makes me sick." i said looking up and glaring at him. "Good thing, Gab." he said emphasizing 'Gab'. 

"You make me want to vomiit." I said to him. He reacted by pulling me into a side hug,holding me into his chest. He moved down a little bit and put his lips near my ear. The temptation was killing me. He moved down a little more and whispered into my ear.

"Gab."

After waiting 30 minutes for the doctor who was conversing with a patient, he walked into the room holding a book with colorful swatches and a castign supply kit. "Pick your color kiddo, its Shattered, your bones managed to stay in place." (A/N: This actually happened to me, I shatterd my foot and all the bones stayed in the right places! WOHOO) 

I loked at Taylor and back at the doctors nametag, we both snickered lightly. i flipped through the swatches and picked out the red. "Its my favorite color." I said to Taylor watching the doctor as he dressed my foot. Then my eyes widened. I looked at my pants. "Wait stop!"  I said screaming at the doctor  as he worked up my foot. "Im wearing leggings!" I yelled trying to untie the top. "Wait! Let us get out of here!" Taylor yelled as he got up to leave.

"Well you willsee me anyway, you need to drive me back to the hotel." I said as he reached for the handle. "good point." He said smirking. "Watch yourself, Caniff." i said as I untied the pants and carefully slipped them off. Taylor looked away, or tried as I sat there. "I have a hospital gown that you can wear." Rufus said shrugging. 

"Please" Taylor said smirking at me. "I told you watch it, Caniff." i scowled at him as teh doctor exited the room. "So I dont become too much of a distraced driver." Taylor said flashing me a cheeky grin as the doctor walked back in. "here." he said handing me the baby blue gown.

"Thank you." I sad tying it around my waist. "Be sure not to hit the cast on anything for 15 minutes, it needs to competely harden." Rufus said grabbing my crutches for me.

"Thanks you Ruf- I mean Sir." I said as Taylor could not help but let out a small giggle. 

"Ladies first." he said bowing opening the door for me. he did it again for the car. 

"Thank you. for everyhting." I said leaning in giving him a small peck on the cheek causing his cheeks to flush a bright red. He started the engine as we began to drive back to the Hotel.
