Element Storm (season 1)

Chapter 3: First day at school. (partial.)

The Element Storm were asleep in their rooms sleeping peacefully. The three boys wake up, trying to be as quiet as possible. Each grab a hidden towel. They all emerge from their rooms at the same time. They All turn around at the same time. They just stare at one another for like a minute. Then they all bolt to the bathroom. Coal however gets there first.

"Come on it's my first day!" Crim said irritably. Coal Just sticks his tong out. He tries to open the door but it's locked. Kaila Chuckles and turns on the shower.

"You guys really need to work on your speed." Kaila said through the door. Crim smirks at his older brother's instant karma. Coal looked over at Tork who already ran down stairs to the other bathroom.

"Well looks like we're taking the gym's showers." Coal said irritable. Crim smiled.

"Come on. Dad said to use teleport phones to get into the gym." Crim said happily.

"I think he said in case of emergency." Coal said skeptically. Crim looked innocent.

"My stench is an emergency?" Crim said innocently. Coal looked at him sternly but soften up.

"Fine but only this once." Coal said sternly. Crim nodded happily. They went to their rooms grabbed their clothes backpacks. They had soap in their lockers. They grabbed their keys and wallets. Then teleported to their gym's locker rooms.

Kaila was just finishing up her shower. She quickly dried and put on a Grey Top, and blue jeans, she put her hair up in a ponytail. She smiled to herself in the mirror.

"I got this!" She said determined. Tork came out of his room dressed in a red t-shirt and black jeans. Tork looked at what he was wearing.

"I own a lot of red clothing..." he thought to himself. Kaila popped out of her of the restroom she had he Everything ready. In Tork's eye's she was freaking Cute. He gained his composer before she noticed.

"Come one let's get to school." He said Smiling. Kaila looked concerned.

"Shouldn't we say bye to Ty first?" Tork nodded no.

"Normally he's already gone to work. But, today's his day off from the gym. Let's just let him sleep in." Tork explained. Kaila nodded. Tork and Kaila made their way towards the high school.

Crim and Coal had finished up their showers. They quickly changed, Crim in a white t-shirt, and Coal in a black t-shirt with a long sleeve grey tee underneath. Crim looked over at his brother and smiled. Coal looked at Crim he noticed that his brother was a taller and more muscular then yesterday. He was still about 2.5 inches shorter then him and Tork.

"Good thing we didn't get to school yesterday." Coal said with a chuckle. Crim looked at him confused.

"Why's that?" Crim asked generally confused.

"Well how would we explain you growing 2 inches overnight and becoming muscular?" Coal said in a matter of fact tone. Crim looked as if he just realized that. He did not have an answer.

"Huh? Guess your right?" He said with a smile. Coal chuckled. Crim looked good and now he had his personality back. Coal figured he'd have a girlfriend in no time.

"Yeah you're going to be a real lady killer at the school." Coal said proudly. Crim smiled awkwardly.

"Uhhh... Yeah I guess." Crim said looking away. Coal thought he'd touched a nerve. Crim never talked about girls. Coal thought he was just a late bloomer. He was 14 so it was possible. Coal Decided to let it go for now.

Crim looked away. His looked sad. His brothers didn't know the real reason why he tried to kill himself. His dad and mother were the only ones who did know. Yes, He was bullied for being young, at his private school, He was super stressed, and he was depressed about his parents' divorce. But that wasn't the reason why he tried. His secret caused his mother to disown him.

He and Coal walked out of the gym to the high school. Coal looked over concerned about his brother. Crim did look sad. Not as bad as he was. Coal put his hand on his little brother's shoulder. Crim gave him a weak smile.

"Please, don't fall back into despair." Coal Pulled him into a hug. Crim smiled fully.

"I won't. I swear." Crim said honestly. Coal broke the hug and smiled at his brother. He leads the way to the school. They met Kaila and Tork setting at a table. They started chatting about some random stuff. They were interrupted by a bag slamming on their table. They looked up to see Rose.

"We Need to talk." She said seriously. She looked over to Crim and Kaila. She looked surprised at Crim.

"Were you that buff yesterday?" She asked confused. Crim looked a bit shocked.

"Uhh I don't know how to answer that." Crim said a little weirded out. Kaila looked over at her cousinly. Rose looked at her confused. Kaila got and extended her hand.

"Hi, I'm Kaila Ace. I'm a distant relative of these guys. Nice to meet you." She said cheerfully. Rose looked at her a bit in wonder. She met her hand and shook it.

"I'm Rose Windwaker. Nice to meet you." Rose said shyly. Kaila smiled back.

"Look I do need to talk to them..." Rose said in a somewhat normal tone. Kaila motioned her to set down. Rose awkwardly sat down.

"So, what did you need?" Crim said nicely. He smiled warmly. Rose looked at him confused. She scratched her head. She tried to form the words. But was at a loss for words.

"I think I know what she wants to say?" Kaila said nicely. Rose looked at her concerned. Just then the bell rang. Kaila nearly jumped out of her seat. Rose tried to hold it in but then started laughing. The boys looked sympathetically at their comrade. Rose calmed down.

"I'm sorry. That just reminded me of my first day. I jumped like that the first time I heard that bell to." Rose smiled. Kaila blushed embarrassed. The boys got up to go to their first class. Kaila looked at her schedule Rose peaked over.

"Hey, we got the same classes. What are the odds." Rose felt something different from this girl. Like she could trust her. Rose was never that popular. She was pretty but It was hide behind her glasses.

"Well Rose sorry to put you on the spot but would you mind showing her around?" Tork asked. Crim and Coal looked at him confused. Kaila however knew what he was thinking.

"Sure, I don't mind." She grinned. 'This is a bit weird. I never smile this much.' Rose thought to herself. Kaila got up and grabbed Rose's hand and started shaking it.

"Thank you very much. I know we just met but I can tell were going to be good friends." Kaila smiled brightly. Rose looked at her shocked. Then smiled.

"I think so too." She said brightly. The boys waved and said bye to the girls. When they were near Crim's class they stopped for a moment.

"Why did you dump Kaila on that girl?" Crim asked confused. Coal nodded in agreement. Tork smirked.

"You couldn't feel it, could you?" He asked his brothers. They looked at him confused.

"That girl is special. I just know." Crim and Coal looked skeptical.

"You just want someone to back you up with Kaila you perve bag." Crim said bluntly. Coal smirked at his younger brother. Tork blushed.

"You little..." Tork started. Coal grabbed his twin and dragged him to their class.

"Bye guys have a good day." Crim waved his brothers. Tork flipped him off.

"Up yours, twerp!" Tork said as Coal pulled him down the hall. Crim giggled at his brother's response. Crim turned around to turn the door knob and touched the hand of another student. They retracted their hands.

"Oh sorry." They said at the same time. They looked up and their gaze met. Crim was looking at a tall, slim, deep blue eyed, black haired 15-year-old. He was wearing a beanie cap and glasses. His black hair just barley pointed out of the front. The boy looked at Crim with shock. Crim looked at him confused.
