It was the afternoon and you just got home from the park, feeling excited to give something to your hardworking mother. You enter the kitchen with your mother's back towards you.
"Mami?" You ask your mother while she was busy cooking, completely ignoring you.
"Mami?" You ask again raising your voice a little
"Mom?" Nope
"Mama?" You wish still no luck.
"MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" You shout as you finally earn her attention. Which surprised her that she almost dropped the knife she was holding, into her foot. Turning to you, crossing her arms as she was about to scold you, filled with sudden fear.
"Young lady, don't you shout at me, can't you see I'm busy and I almost stabbed my foot...I'm lucky my quirk is psychokinesis or you know..." You look down feeling guilty for your actions.
"Yes, Mami. I'm sorry..." You weren't used to getting scolded that you felt tears coming, only to be stopped as you hear mom giggle.
"Hehehe apology accepted sweetie. So (Y/N), what is that you want?"
Still looking down you fidget with what is behind in your hands, slowly bringing it to show her. "I just wanted to give you this pretty flower...cause I think it's pretty like you and it reminded me of you an - and I like you." You look up, offering the flower to see Mom smiling down at you.
"Thank you honey, but sorry." Your heart drops. "I prefer roses." Your eyes start to water again. "Cause they're beautiful when they bloom. And right now you're my sweet little rose bud!" She quickly kneels down and pulls you into a hug and kisses your cheek, causing your tears to retreat.
"Really?" You laugh and then Mom gives you the look of why do you have to ask, I just told you look.
"Yes, yes you are. Now go return that poor carnation back wherever you got it from. The bees need it to make you honey." She gets up to return cooking. "Ah (Y/N)-" She turns to see you were already gone.
As you run out your house to the park, you yell, "Save the bees!" a couple times along the way.
Before you left home, your mother was going to explain the meaning of the white carnation.
