Velvet ran,ran,and ran.She looked back through her mouse brown hair,her heart beating like a drum.She stopped, begging for air,her thoughts rushed with emotions.She kept running from a big,brick building.She looked back once again still running,this is the farest she has ever got. she snickered proud of herself.She looked forward and relized huge tree roots stuck out of the ground she tried to dodge but failed and that moment she tripped on a big tree root.Her white shirt and black pants now turned to brown caused by mud.She cursed vividly, she looked forward realizing their was a guard in front of her,his hand shook on a gun nervously,he must know she was.....Weird.He was.....Small and probably new,velvet gave a confused look and he gave one right back.She kept running,just brushing by him."stop right there!" He nervously scweeled , velvet looked back and simply replied "And why should I?"he stuttered for a minute "well uhhh,uhhhhhhh,ummmm....."velvet thought he must be scared.....let's show him what I got.... focus,focus,focus.....she closed her eyes imagining something to happen.Her hands started to fuzz,she opens her eyes,the man was still talking?!?Jeez she thought well that won't do....."your scared" velvet Sayed calm as possible,he replied "well uhhhhhhh ye-" he stopped velvet cutting him off "well uhhhhhhh your taking to God damned long!"She directed his hands at him and gave him all the energy she had in her. He neeled to the ground screaming."WELL THAT WONT DO WILL IT!"The guard starting to choke and eventually passed out,or died...She kept running almost at the gate,almost, almost ,almost!She felt a pain in her left leg and passed out as well, dreaming
.Velvet always lucid dreamed,and in this dream she was just talking to herself putting the pieces together.Ugh of course!She dreampt talking to herself he was distracting me!Ugh there were people behind and in front,and they.....THEY TASED ME THOSE LITTLE!She suddenly woke up from her deep slumber.She looked around at her familiar Asylum room.it was pure white witch drove her up the walls.She had a dresser,bed,desk,and a full body mirror but it was all white.She looked in the mirror and brushed her mouse brown hair and changed into a purple skirt and indigo shirt ,she headed to the lunch room.She got her meal and sat,realizing how hungry she was.She dug into her meal.A black haired,pale as can be boy came and sat next to her."hey Alex"velvet replied tiredly."Hey velv" he yawned back,"you tried to-" "yup" velvet interrupted Alex replied with a groan.Alex has been velvets best friend for all these 6 years.Velvet looked at Alex's bright and beutiful blue eyes,"what?" He questioned from her staring "n-nothing" velvet blurted biting into her apple red as a tomato,blushing.Alex bumped into her left leg and she squealed in pain attracting the looks of guards and other people."that's were I got tased"velvet  whispered "oh well ok then....." He replied in sass the guards blew the whistle and we left to our rooms.
