The price

Cynthia:
"I want my life back... it isn't fair on you and the kids."
Shane shook his head, a frown visible on his face.
" baby, your episodes haven't been as frequent. There's still time."
I looked away from him and sighed. He didn't get it despite the amount of time that had passed nothing had got any better. Tana was basically bringing up the twins as I wasn't deemed fit to be around them. Closed off from the world.
"Cynthia..."
I turned back towards him, a look of pity crossed his face as another sigh escaped my lips.
" I have to go now."

" just go." I muttered turning away from him, to stare out towards the woods. My wolf whined as she begged to be let out, but I couldn't. We were dangerous outside.

This wasn't fair on my wolf either. She needed to be free. I cannot for one minute come to terms with the fact that my mother lied to me, but there you go. I'm weak. Just weak.

Over these months I've realised that I'm not fit to be a Luna or a mother , despite what anyone says to me. I just want my life back.

Breaking from my trance I look down at the floor pleading for someone to come and save me from this.  Without warning the floor opened up, I tumbled forward flaming my arms as I tried to grab onto roots in the  soil, but I couldn't do anything to stop my descent.

Then I hit the floor with a sickening thud, but I didn't feel no pain, in fact my body and mind was at ease, as if floating. The only thing I could feel was a gentle burning sensation. It was nice, calming in fact, and as I stood up I felt the familiar pull towards somewhere. Something far more powerful than me. I looped round endless fire filled hallways listening to the wails and screams of wolves in the way.

It was disturbing, but nothing compared to the nightmares I had experienced. I finally came upon a red door, encrusted in gold. I knocked and it opened showing off the inside. A man in his twenties , with fiery red hair and endless black orbs stared back at me. I found him oddly attractive, dangerous and mysterious.

"Sit!" He commanded ponying to a chair just next to his desk.

I did as I was told not thinking twice.

" I have a proposition for you my darling." His words sent shivers down my spine as he advances towards me.

"What may that be ?"

"I want to give you your life back" my heart stopped.
"W...what ? Why ?" I stuttered as he got closer.
" because you are very alluring. I can't keep myself away from you. I do hate seeing you all so upset sugar plum." He grabbed my hand pulling me towards him. He held onto my waist fast and he inhaled a sigh of content escaping  his lips.

" what's the catch?"

"Just a payment, something later in life nothing to concern you my doll"

He turned my head towards him, and I got lost in his eyes, I felt as if I was meeting Shane all over again, the strong pull towards this man was astounding and my heart thudded, my cheeks turning beet root red.

Then he kissed me so ferociously and passionately that I gasped. He took this as an advantage and quickly slipped his tongue inside as he tasted my mouth.

"I want my life back." I muttered sighing in content. Then I was back in my hospital bed, but I was different I could already tell.
