Paige's pov
i woke up to a pressure on my lap and chest. i open my eyes and see alexis on my lap, arms around my neck, head on my shoulder. i smile to myself before getting up and setting her in the chair. i walked downstairs and walked to the bathroom. i closed the door and looked at myself in the mirror. observing my fading purple hair. i looked away and started the shower, i quickly stripped and got in. my eyes quickly beamed to the floor, watching the water go down the drain. i sighed and looked back up. i washed my hair and body. i opened the curtain and stepped out. i quickly fell back frightened. alexis was sitting on the toilet scrolling threw her phone. "u..uh hi" i said quickly grabbing a towel and wrapping it around me. "morning" she said without looking up, she finally looked up and smiled. that beautiful shining smile, that makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. To have such an angel by my side. i smiled back and got redressed. we walked out into the kitchen and she sat down. i pulled out some bacon and eggs. she frowned, "what don't like eggs?" i asked. she shook her head i sighed, "hashbrowns?". she nodded her head violently. "hash browns it is" i said with a laugh. i started to stove, and scrolled threw my notifications, laughing at a few comments on my most recent videos. the stove heated up i threw the bacon in, putting the hash browns on a bake tray and putting it in the oven. i heard singing from behind me, i turn around and find the source of the singing. i smile at her, she's not noticed me looking yet. i turn back around and continue to cook. shorty after the food was done. i made us both a plate and sat down in front of her. "plans for today?" i asked, she shrugged. "i need to record a video so ya need to figure out what to do for about an hour" i said. she nodded standing up. "imma go hang with leia" she said walking out my front door grabbing her set of keys. i sighed for the third time in the last three hours. i got up throwing the dishes in the sink and walked back upstairs into my recording room. "home sweet headphone" i whispered before loading up a game, and my screen recording software, then made sure my camera was recording. "hello my little wastelanders, today we are playing fallout yay. act more excited there we go" i said smiling at the camera. i continued to play fallout yelling and laughing at parts. i wrapped up the video. "alright guys i'll see ya in the next quest, byeeee!" i finished turning everything off. then started to edit it, i heard the door open and keys be thrown. then heavy footsteps up the stairs. "you okay" i yelled. "tired and annoyed" she yelled back. i chuckled to myself. she walked in and watched me make jump cuts and adding stuff here and there. cutting out awkward pauses. "you're really good at this" she said. "yea whelp i've been doing it for awhile, wanna try?" i asked she nodded. she came over and sat in my lap, i plugged another set of headphones in and handed them to her. she put them on. i showed her how to cut things and add animations, we finished editing about half an hour later. she set the headphones down and stood up, i did the same. "anything happen at leia's?" i asked. "we played with her pug" she said eyes lighting up with joy. i loved seeing her so happy. i nodded and we walked to my room, i handed her a controller and we sat on my bed. i loaded up mortal combat, she sighed "you're gonna win, you know i'm shit at this game" she said. "nah i'll go easy on ya babe" i said kissing her forehead. the game started she picked scorpion, i picked katana. she was half health, i was at full health. then she hit an impressive combo and i was 1/8 health. i groaned and smashed the buttons but it was too late she killed me. i threw the controller into my lap "asshole" i said. i picked the controller up as the second round started. i hit her with three combos and had her down to 1/2 health again. she kept getting hits and didn't leave room for me to hit. i attacked the buttons on my controller but the no avail she beat me and ended with a fatality. " fuck fuck fuck fuck NO what the fuck ughhhhhhhh HOW THE FUCK!"i yelled throwing my controller and stood up. "imma go get a drink find another game that's not as testing please" i said walked to the kitchen. i opened the fridge and grabbed a cherry coke. fuck mortal combat. i checked my phone to see how the new video is doing, not bad. i walked back upstairs and sat back on the bed. wincing at the game she picked. "really?" i asked looking at her. she innocently shrugged handing me a controller. we played for hours "no what the fuck why would you place tnt there NO STOP DONT BLOW UP MY HOUSE" she cried out. too late the house blew up into a bunch of blocks. "why are you so difficult to play minecraft with?" she asked. i shrugged innocently and chuckled "guess you could say my humor doesn't belong in this block" i said laughing at my own joke. "please never make jokes ever again" she said shaking her head disapprovingly. i set the controller down " i think i'm done" i said laying down setting my head in her lap staring up at her. she paused the game and looked down at me smiling. god she's adorable, she booped my nose and continues to play minecraft. i smiled and fell asleep dreaming of my queen.
