[THIS IS BASED OFF FROM "MY LITTLE FANG"]
You shifted in your position, blinking your tired [E/C] eyes as a yawn escaped out of your mouth. It was almost time until your vigil of guarding the camp overnight was over. The sun was starting peek over the trees that surrounded the camp. You were finally a full warrior of ThunderClan, and Firestar gave you your warrior name, [Y/W/N].
Others went to congratulate you on being a full warrior, and of course, your mother and father were happy for you as well. Hollyleaf, your best and childhood friend, became a warrior on the same day you became a warrior. So now here you two were, guarding the camp with tired souls.
You looked over at your tired friend, she looked like she was about to collapse. She noticed your gaze on her and she just shrugged. You both guarded the camp for a while until Lionblaze, Hollyleaf's brother, padded up towards you two. His amber eyes were gleaming as he smiled at the two warriors.
"Hi! Your vigils are over!" Without warning, Hollyleaf breathed out a loud sigh and collapsed with a loud thump. You chuckled at her silliness and you nodded to Lionblaze,"Okay, thanks." You tiredly walked towards your friend and nudged her harshly, hoping that would get her up.
The she-cat grumbled in response but it wasn't too long before she sat up, dirt all over her black pelt. You rolled your gaze and helped her up on her paws, before you two walked towards the warrior's den. You both shared some yawns as you entered the warm, cozy den. Hollyleaf quickly pulled away from you and settled herself down on a empty nest.
She shut her eyes before saying,"Goodnight, [Y/W/N]." Your ears twitched as you heard her snores, and you wondered how she could sleep so fast. You shrugged it off and settled yourself next to her, breathing in the scent of moss. And to your surprise, somecat had put feathers and ferns on your nest.
It was very nice and cozy, yes, but who had done it? You were to tired to think about it as you laid your head on your [F/C] paws. Closing your eyes, a wave of slumber clashed over you and you had fallen asleep in a heartbeat.
_____
Blinking open your eyes, you were suddenly in a small clearing. You slowly raised your head, a bit confused. Weren't you in the warrior's den? You slightly turned your head to see a small lake, lilypads just floating on top of the cool liquid. It was truly beautiful, and your eyes sparkled.
You didn't bother to explore as you rolled yourself over to expose your belly. The sun above you warmed you up and you letted out a satisfied purr. While sun bathing, you didn't notice another cat's presence. You were too busy liking the warmth on you, and a voice ruined your moment.
"Oh, it's you."
Flustered, you quickly sat up and met the eyes of Jayfeather. He was standing in front of you, but you felt a dizzy for sitting up so quickly. His eyes stabbed you like a thorn when you regained your vision. You stood silent for a moment, tilting your head in a slight way."Oh, hey, Jayfeather. What are you doing in my dream?"
The medicine cat narrowed his gaze at you, nose twitching."That's none of your business," he retorted a bit harshly, and you bit your lip to stop yourself from giving him a sharp comeback. Why even bothering to ask him? You turn your head back at the lake and you felt calm again.
A light smile found it's way across your muzzle and you looked back at the blind tom."You can see this, right?" Jayfeather just nodded his head, and you looked back at the lake once more."Then, is this the most unique thing you witnessed first..?" The tom stood quiet, not answering you.
But, you didn't mind as you stared deeply into the lake. You could see small fishes swimming under it, and you decided to try to catch one. Jayfeather watched you padded towards the lake and settled yourself there, paw above the water. His ears twitched, were you going to try to catch a fish?
He rolled his gaze and sat down, staring intensely at you. He thought about the question you asked him, and his answer was yes. When he first entered your dream, seeing he can enter other's dreams, he witnessed the most unique thing. And that was you.
How your [F/C] fur shined from the sunlight above you, and how your [E/C] eyes sparkled with determination. StarClan, you were probably prettier than Half-Moon herself. He was was struck with sadness when he realized he couldn't see you in the real world. Only in his dreams.
He didn't understand his feelings for you. You two barely talked to each-other and the only time you both did is only when you were injured or were sick. But that was rarely since you are very careful with those around you. He admired you, he really did. He hated StarClan even more since he was born blind and was 'meant' to be a medicine cat.
"Look, Jayfeather! I caught one!"
You smiled with glee as you dropped the fish down, leaving a fishy taste on your lips. The tom blinked down at the small fish you caught. You waited patiently for a compliment from him, but he just mumbled something under his breath. You angled your ears to hear what he was saying, and all you could make out was, '..yes.'
"Yes what?" you inquired, and Jayfeather looked away a bit shyly."I meant yes to your question." At first, you didn't understand what he meant until you remembered the question you asked earlier."Oh! Really? What was it?" you leaned forward towards him, curious. You didn't even notice how close you two were.
Jayfeather seemed a bit uncomfortable by this but he tried to compose himself."I.. uh, it's a bit embarrassing.." Jayfeather? Embarrassed? Well, that's a surprise indeed. You rolled your gaze and blinked your [E/C] orbs."Come on, it can't be that bad.."
It took a couple of moments before the tom letted out a shaky breath. At first, you were about to tell him he didn't have to say it until he did something that me you surprised. Your pelt heated up as Jayfeather touched noses with you, his eyes half closed. You opened your mouth to say something, but nothing came out.
"It was you. You were the first unique thing I ever witnessed."
____
You jumped from your nest and looked around, seeing you were back in the warrior's den. Outside, the sun was gone and was replaced by the moon. It was dark as well, and you saw Hollyeaf was still in her nest. Were you really sleeping for that long?
You remembered your dream with Jayfeather, and a faint smile appeared on your muzzle. You were a bit happy when he confessed you were the first unique thing he saw. You laid back your head onto your paws and closed your eyes.
You were going to sleep peacefully from now on..
