tribe of dense woodland
history
the tribe of dense woodland was founded by a rogue named willow about three hundred moons ago. she later changed her name to dense woodland. she was one of the chosen cats called upon by the tribe of heavenly skies. about two thirds of the forest cats are the descendants of her.
territory
cats of this tribe live in a temperate forest in pennsylvania. there is a small creek that branches out through the territory from the river. the river marks the north and west borders, a bareskin road marks the other borders on the south and east.
camp
the camp is a group of fallen trees that fell during a tornado moons before cats inhabited the forest. the leaves and broken pieces of wood provide good dens for the cats. a large ancient tree stump in front of a clearing is used as a meeting place. cats must reinforce the camp with twigs and plants every moon.
prey
the most common prey animals are squirrels, mice, rabbits, shrews, muskrats, woodchucks, chipmunks, hawks, songbirds, and turkeys.
uncommon prey are moles, lemmings, and opossums.
rare prey animals are hares, rats, and flying squirrels.
predators
common predators are coyote, foxes, beavers, hawks, raccoons, and skunks.
uncommon predators are lemmings and minks.
rare predators are bears, porcupines and bobcats.
neutral animals
common neutral animals are bats and deer.
