After hours and hours of getting ready for coronation, it was time. Princess Farrah would be considered Queen Farrah by the end of the night. She waited for her cue behind the doors.
"I would like to present to you all... Princess Farrah of Ireland!"
The crowd was as loud as three orchestras. Everyone was excited to see there beloved soon-to-be queen.
The Guards opened the doors and Princess Farrah stood there as perfect as can be. She had a perfect smile and her blonde hair was in a twisted braid bun. She lifted her satin dress and walked down the stairs. At the bottom she met Sullivan. That was when her smile morphed into a frown. He was wearing a jacket of medals, a sash, boots, and fake smile.
"Greetings Farrah! I am delighted to see thee again." Sullivan said sarcastically.
"I am overjoyed to see thee as well." Princess Farrah said sarcastically.
"Shall we" Sullivan said.
"Why not."
They began to dance an old traditional Irish dance. Soon after everyone joined in. Sullivan and Farrah began small talk.
"So are thee excited to make peace with the Vikings?" Farrah asked.
"Why would I do that?"
"Because thee are going to become king and it is your job."
"On no Princess Farrah! I am only becoming king because I can get whatever I want and do whatever I want."
"But what about the country it will be attacked without you to guide the guards."
"I will just leave that to the chiefs. They will understand that I will be busy with children."
"What makes you think I will have children with you?"
"Because I am so brave and handsome and-"
Ugh he is talking about how great he is again. Why would he ever think I would even think of having children with him.
Farrah peeked over her babbling boyfriends shoulder. Suddenly the guards all around the ballroom dropped to their knees.
I wonder what is wrong. Maybe I shall go talk with the guards.
"Excuse me for one moment." Farrah said.
She walked away from Sullivan and toward one of the guards.
"Sir? What seems to be wrong?"
The guard didn't answer. Farrah looked at the guards chest. The color red was expanding across it.
