The ocean crashed against the rocks as the seagulls overhead sang their song. The sun kissing the horizon so the moon could take it's shift. The current playing tagwith a familiar raven haired boy's bare feet. He's been out here for hours; thinking about that stupid blonde. That stupid blonde with the stupid smile and those stupid blue eyes, with that stupid raspy voice. Everything about him was stupid. Just stupid; and Sasuke was stupidly in love with him. So stupidly in love.
"Who told you to die, huh?" Sasuke says as tears desperately fell from his eyes. "You promised you'd never leave me and you lied to me; you jerk." Sasuke allowed his head to drop as he cried.
"I hate you Naruto Uzumaki." He yells at the wind. "I'll never forgive you."
*Six Months Earlier*
Sasuke sat in the back of his creative writing class as he listened to one of his professors many lectures. He was tired; having been up since 5:30 for a 6:00 class with barely any sleep the previous night with his roommate, Kiba Inuzunka snoring loudly in the bed across from his. He hated snoring, and he thought with the three years he's been rooming with Kiba that he would've gotten use to it by now, but he hasn't. He'd usually go to sleep before the brunette, but that particular night he stayed up later to study for his psychology class; which he was for sure he failed.
"So for homework." The prefessor's voice drifted off and before Sasuke knew it, everyone was grabbing their belongings and walking out. The raven quickly did the same and exited the class. He made a quick right down the hall. He then placed his glasses at the top of his head and continued walking. Casually yawning slow, he exited the building and trudged across campus to his dorm. On the lawn having what looked to be a relaxing nap was his friend, Sakura Haruno.
Feeling like being an asshole, Sasuke walked over to her and kneeled beside her. He examined her small frame as she laid on her back with a Statistics book over her face. He took in a deep breath as he removed the book from her face. Sakura's mouth was slightly open. He never understood how she sleeps with her eyes slightly opened, but he never judged her. At the end of the day, she was still a good friend of his.
Poor Sakura, passes out while studying and I'm about to ruin her day. He thought. He held in a laugh as he watched her drool. The raven then took the water bottle that lay next to her and untwisted the cap. He wet his hand then quickly began flicking water on the pinkette.
"Sakura! You're drowning!" He yells frantically.
The girl jumped out of her slumber gasping for air as if she was really drowning. Sasuke snorted from how hard he was laughing, gaining a few heavy handed punches from the girl.
"Sasuke you're such a dick!" She says shoving him. "God, I was sleeping good too!"
"I can tell." He replies capping the water bottle and sitting indian style net to her. "I'm sleep deprived so suffer with me."
