Why Him?

Devan POV
I slept peacefully through the night, dreaming about the surprise Collins has set up for me. Then my door opened. I couldn't see who it was. The hallway lights were off so it was hard to really see. Then something picked me up. It must be in my dream. I know I'll be able to see Collins again in the morning. I was way too tired to wake up, so I just laid there. The thing just picked me up. I started to feel like I was falling. There was a breeze, which was nice. Wait, this didn't feel right. I started to kind of open my eyes I SAW SOMETHING THAT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN UNSEEN. for some reason I ended up in like a random place. I stood straight up.....I couldn't find Collins. I couldn't find anyone I knew. I started to cry. I just curled up in a corner and cried myself to sleep........
That morning......
Collins's POV
I woke up from my bed, and slowly opened Devan's door. I loved seeing my little brother sleep in the morning. It's way too cute. I just froze from my tracks. I thought he's gone. But he must be already downstairs. When he's excited he's always first downstairs. I went downstairs and called for Devan..no reply. I called his name again. The tv was running still..until the news came on early. TV: good morning California we have some morning news we are going to start with. Coming up today with an unbelievable story first Collins Key 's little brother Devan Key went missing last night at 1:13am. Some people say that he must've been sleepwalking and ended up being missing.
I couldn't believe my eyes. Devan is missing on his birthday. I continue to watch the news. TV: Or some other people said they last saw Devan Key being kidnapped and nearly almost killed. He was last seen far away even out of the state of California. People say that last time people saw him was all the way in Ohio. Why is it always Devan who gets lost or kidnapped. I went in my room and saw the picture wall from when we were babies when we were born, to the picture from this morning. Steven: Collins?
Collins: oh hey dad
Steven: is something wrong? Where's Devan?
Collins: earlier, the news came on...and they said that Devan was missing early around one in the morning. They said the kidnapper took him.
Steven: HOW FAR AWAY ??
Collins: all the way to Ohio.......
I saw tears streaming down my dads face. I can't believe that Devan was missing on his special day. I can't take it anymore. My dad said that we are going to Ohio to find Devan............
