I remember thinking to myself that I'd never been to a party like that before. That it almost didn't feel safe and i wanted to leave as soon as i entered. The amount of people. Their status. Their talents. The bottles. The music. The distance from the ceiling to me. It all felt like too much even though i was no stranger to the better life.
But as i looked around at the expensive fluorescent lights and the designer around my wrist and waist i realized this was the moment my life finally got ignited with that pizzazz I'd been waiting for for so long.
I pulled out my phone and snapchatted that night away so that my first taste at the better life could never be forgotten.
My first taste of him too.
