My Very Own Yeah-Yeah♡

The aftermath: part 1

Kylie: I woke up to my alarm chirping in my dark room. Around me was a bunch of crumbled up papers and pencils. My face was puffy from crying but I got up. I pulled up my blinds to let the sun in and didn't bother to look at yeah yeahs window. I threw on a simple sweatr and some skinny jeans. I put my hair up in a ponytail and left the house. But before I left, my mom stopped me. "Hey hun, have you heard of the big festival? Maybe you can take that cute neighbor boy" she said with a wink. "Mom, can we talk about this later? I'm gonna be late." I said with an upbeat tone. I did NOT want my mom to know I was upset.

Yeah-yeah: I didn't sleep that night, it felt like I closed my eyes and when I opened them, it was morning. I looked out my window and my heart jumped for a second seeing the blinds opened...but no sign of Kylie. Just a bunch of crumbled up papers and tissues. I really messed up. I threw on a big grey sweater and some jeans and headed out. I looked for Kylie but instead I saw Jessica. "Hey hot stuff, wanna walk me to school?" She said standing in my driveway. She had on what seemed like pounds of makeup and was dressed like she belonged in a club. "Not now Jessica." I said walking past her. "I'll have you one day Alan!! One way or another" she said screaming.

-SCHOOL-

Kylie: I think I was getting used to where everything was, I managed to get to the school 4 minutes before the bells rang. The gang invited me over to their little corner and I figured "why not". Ham was doing some stupid trick while I could feel benny's eyes on me. "Hey..can I talk to you..alone?" Benny whispered in my ear. I never said yes but I never said no, I was just pulled away from the gang. "So uh, listen, what you did at the diner did not look good for my rep. But I wanted to apologize, I just really like you Kylie" he said with a smile. Everything that happened yesterday hit me like a train. Before he could finish, I cut him off. "I'm gonna be late for history." I said pushing past him. The bell rang and my eyes swelled with tears when I ran into someone. My books and their book went everywhere and the hallway was nearly empty. "I'm so so sorry ohmygosh" I said picking up their books. I didn't hear a response so I said it again. "No really, I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was goi-" my heart stopped. I was inches away from yeah-yeah and I couldn't move. All the anger I felt melted away looking into his eyes.

Yeah-yeah: I got to school a little late, I had to return some books to the library and the librarians love talking about gossip to me. I finally got to school and as soon as I walked in, the bell rang. I groaned and fast walked to history. At the same time I was looking for my report on one of those big wars.. was it the first or the second?? But suddenly I felt a force on my chest and everything went flying. "I'm so so sorry ohmygosh" I heard. I recognized that voice and my heart started beating a million beats a minute. I looked up and saw her. I was stunned. She said something again but I couldn't make out what it was. She looked at me and she stopped. I wanted to tell her I was sorry. I wanted to wrap her in my arms. I wanted her to smile because of me again. But we sat there, looking at eachother.

Oh uh hey there... haven't seen you since last year. Well it's summer and I don't have a social life so I might as well get back into this.. and sorry sorry sorry for never updating😅
