"Say Colin, did you see the paper today?" asked Colin's colleague Jim,

"No, why, something else happened with the world that we need to worry about," He scoffed at that. Every day there was more drama in the world that Colin just didn't give a shit about. He had other things to worry about, for example where he would pick up his next whore, whether it be Soho or just down the sleazy, back streets of good old London town.

"No, it's that whole disappearance this again. It was a Mandy Crawford this time, disappeared two weeks ago, just being reported. Turns out after some digging, she wasn't innocent so people are happy she's gone."

"Why, what she do to make people glad she's gone?"

"Well she was a prostitute for starters," Colin had to hold in a chuckle at that. "But turns out that each baby she had, she drowned in her own bath tub or gave an overdose on drugs. Then she buried the poor kid's bodies in the garden. The snuffer dogs found them. A total of sixteen bodies found but records say she had more so their looking for the rest. Only reason this was all found out was 'cause the gaffers traced and linked Macy to a drug dealer they've been tracking. That's what they think happened to her. They think it was a drug deal gone bad, not connected to the whole disappearance thing going on. But the papers say different." Jim concluded.

"Well then fine, she deserves to have what ever has happened to her. It's not my business so if you'll excuse me, lunch is calling and unless you want Brian to eat your sandwiches again I suggest that you come as well." Colin stretched as he stood and began to walk away from his desk. It was yet again another day in his life, and Colin was tired from his joy ride last night. After he had left his family, he drove to the blonde's flat and, well lets just say, had his way with her. Colin chuckled as he remembered last nights events. He decided to have a longer fling with the blonde as she definitely entertained Colin.

"I suppose you're right. Here hold off, let me grab my wallet first." Jim quickly grabbed his wallet that had been lying next to Colin and hurriedly caught up with him. Colin couldn't help but roll his eyes at Jim. He was a pain in Colin's ass, however he never counted the money in his wallet that he carelessly lay around all the time so he didn't know when Colin would steal a couple of twenties. Colin felt the extra £80 he just took in his pocket. That would nicely pay for his new toy that he would pick up tonight.

"So what do you think then Colin, hey?" Jim panted as he had trouble keeping in step with Colin's long strides.

"What do I think about what Jim," Colin huffed

"About the disappearances and the Mandy Crawford case," Jim said in a Duh' tone.

"We've already had this conversation. I said I don't care so why don't you just shut up about it!" Colin snarled, causing Jim to squeak and falter in his steps. Colin smirked at the response but hide it from Jim.

"Oo-h r-right, s-sorr-ry C-ccolin." Jim all but whispered his apology, frightened to the bone of the tall brooding man.

As Colin drove home that night, he couldn't help but think about what the little weasel was rambling on about. For the past while, a lot of disappearances had been reported. They were quite frequent, and the publicity were having a field day, being able to have a new story every week. The police were going crazy and more patrols were going about the country. It was happening all over the country. And what was weird was the fact that each civilian reported missing had a criminal background, many cases similar to the charges of Macy Crawford. The police knew that they must be connected but didn't want to alarm the public. However the police were no closer to catching the culprit than they were to catch the real Jack the Ripper. No, the police were useless. But why should Colin waste any of his time think about something that doesn't affect him, hey?

So with that thought in mind, Colin turned up the radio and raced the rest of the way home. He had left his family alone last night so he planned on treating them tonight with his full attentions and presence. That is until he gets bored , then he'll go out to get his next whore.
