SAO:Alfheim Arc (Third story in SAO:The Beginning)

A/N:So I deleted the other pages should I say. So gonna do it a tad different than what I posted last time lol. Sorry guys. But hey, it is my story and I might make it more better. Sooo any who, here we go!

{3rd person}

Shino was getting herself ready for school for the day.

Kazuto had messaged her a bit ago saying he had something to take care of and he didn't give her too much detail on what.

But..that would be the reason he's missing school today.

She sighed softly as she headed into her kitchen to get some breakfast and some coffee, then turned on her tv to watch the news for a little while.

Her phone started to go off and she opened unlocked her phone to see if it was Kazuto or one of her friends.

Her eyes widened.

The 'unknown' person was calling her now?

She took a quick deep breath and answered the call.

{Shino}

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hello, Asada-san."

The voice sounded familiar....but how....

I ignored my racing heart and decided to let Sinon kick in.

"Who the hell is this and what do you want?!" I demanded trying to hide my nervousness.

"You know who we are, Asada-san. How's that pesky boyfriend of yours?"

"Like that is any of your concern! What the hell do you and whoever want with me?! Now tell me!" I yelled.

The voice on the other side of the phone started to laugh...and there was another voice in the background telling whoever was calling me to do something, but I couldn't make it out.

"Looks like I gotta run. Don't worry. You and I are gonna have such a fun time...Asada-san."

The phone call ended.

Dang it! Who the hell were these guys?

There was a sudden knock on my door that made me jump.

I don't have time for this crap....

I headed over to the peephole to only see Akari-san with a worried look on her face.

Thank goodness it was only her.

I open the door and Akari-san instantly wrapped her arms around my waist.

"Akari-san?.."

"Shino-san! I was so worried! I heard yelling coming from your apartment and I thought something happened to you." Akari explained while having a couple tears slip down her cheeks.

"Ah..sorry, Akari-san. I'm alright." I reasurred her.

"Oh, good! Say..you haven't been telling me the full truth. What's been going on to make you feel so jumpy?" She asked giving me a concerned look again after wiping the tears away.

"I..." I sighed softly and let Akari-san in, then closed the door behind us.

I started to explain my situation with the phone call I just had and the weird texts I got and how Kazuto was worried.

Time skip~

School went like normal for the most part. Rika, Keiko and Sugu all hung out with me most of the time in some morning classes, until lunch.

But weird thing was, I only saw Akari-san this morning at my apartment and when we walked to school together..but after when she headed to her classes, she seemed startled like all I said to her this morning bothered her and she didn't come see me for most of today like she usually does.

Did I frighten her?

I sighed rubbing the back of my head a little and decided to go ahead and head to my locker pulling out my shoes and a book to read.

A small note dropped out from where my shoes were.

I opened the letter up:

Hey, Shino-san.
Sorry I haven't talked to you much of today since this morning. What you did tell me did startle me, but I want you to know I'm always here for you.
Why don't you swing by the Library and we can have lunch in there. See you in a little while!!

"Hey, Shinoo!"

I folded the paper and turned around to see Sugu, Keiko and Rika come up to me smiling.

"Hey, guys." I greeted with a small smile.

"Sooo are we having our usual lunch uptop the roof?" Rika asked.

"Ah, actually..Akari-san wanted me to meet up with her for lunch today just the two of us. Is that all right?" I ask feeling slightly guilty turning my friends down.

"That's fine. We can meet up with you after school and go to the cafe." Sugu suggested.

"Yeah, that would be great. I'll see you guys later." I wave, then started to head to the cafeteria to pick up my food and drink, then head to the Library.

I finally got there while finishing up my lunch on the way and headed inside the Library.

But something was very strange...

All the lights were on, but no one was in here at all.

I shook my head slightly and decided to sit down at a table to wait for Akari-san.

I brought out my book to read for a little while and wait.

20 minutes passed...

Where the heck is Akari?

I start to hear small snickers and all of the lights went out at once.

"Asada-san......." someone whispered.

No....this was a trap?

I quickly got out of my seat to look around, but it was completely pitch black....until I saw some figures move fast past the school hallway light.

"What the hell do you want-"

I felt the wind get knocked out of me....then a needle go in the side of my stomach.

Everything started to fade all around me.

"Kazuto....."

Everything went black.
