days have passed and there's never a day i'd like to distance myself from him and just run away from home.

i'm currently walking down the hallway filled with students that were overriding each other's conversation. i found seulgi leaning on the her locker and beside her stood kai, along with jungkook who was seeming to be showing off his iron man figurine. my lips were about to tug up into a side smile but then my mood was knocked down when i saw him.

he's already famous and almost everyone, from low levels or high, knows him. things about him like his box smile always clouds up in our homeroom or in the hallways every morning. it irritates me so much. the way he treats me at school is far from the way he fucking treats me back home and that just adds on the list of my hatred towards him. i am more beyond glad they known nothing about me being his unlucky stepsister.

"yah, seungwan!"

his eyes immediately wanders around the room as if searching for someone and his eyes immediately locked with mines. a smile escaped his lips and i bite back the urge to roll my eyes at his way. i avert my attention back to seulgi and the others as i amble my way towards them. they looked so amaze with jungkook's iron man figurine.

"what do you say? we catch up a movie?"

"what movie?"

"we should watch smurfs," i raise a brow at kook and shake my head.

"we've had enough of seeing you almost everyday, kook. let us not watch that," i countered and open my locker, putting in my books as i hear them bursting out into a fit of laughter. "lets watch something scary that'll send jungkook's love for smurfs down."

jungkook was glaring down at me like a mad rabbit, resulting for me to laugh with the others. we chatted for a bit and we're off to jungkook's for a movie marathon since we're not loaded with any home works or projects, anyway. add the fact that our houses are only a few blocks away so if ever we're dying out of boredom in the house or in need of help, we got our asses ready to run for each other.

"how's it going with your bro, mandu?" jungkook asks as soon as we walk inside his house.

"oh, for fuck's sake, give me a break," i grab the bag of chips he just got and opened it. "also when are you planning to stop calling me that?"

"nope. not a chance," he smiles.

we started grabbing our snacks and went up to his room, gathering all the pillows on the floor and started watching. we watched lights out and after the credits rolled down, i almost jumped off from where i was sitting because of seulgi screaming.

"fuck you!" she smacked kai's shoulder.

"should've seen your face. might realize it's probably why not a lot wants to go out with you," kai grins and jumps on top of jungkook's bed.

"oh, says the virgin nuthead," seulgi counters.

"oh, yeah, wanna help with that one?" kai arched a brow and seulgi gave him a smug look.

we were laughing our asses off because of them. they've always clicked, in such ways i can't explain. we've been teasing them but they shrug it off, acting disgusted by each other's presence but you can never deny that they actually look good together.

i check the time on my phone and eat the rest of the chocolate bar i was holding before telling them i have to head home.

"need a ride?" jungkook offers, following me out.

"nah. i can manage," i gave him a thumbs up. "the two might need one."

"nope. they're heading off together," he clicks his tongue. "come on. i'll drive you off."

i was about to say no again but he already turned his back on me and started walking towards his car. i shrug and followed him anyway because well, it's already a bit late anyway.

i plopped on the passenger's seat and waited for him to come in.

"you always forget the seatbelt. for fuck's sake, wear it."

"you seem a little younger to tell me things that way," i raise a brow at him.

"and you seem old enough not to be told off by me," he smiles proudly.

i glare at him and settled properly on my seat, wearing my seatbelt. i thanked him as soon as he dropped me off by my house. i sighed as i went in, playing with the keys and looking around the room. great, they still probably aren't home yet because of work.

i entered the kitchen to drink a glass of water. by the time i had finished, i heard footsteps walking towards the kitchen and oh am i unfortunate.

"you're home," he says rather bitterly.

"obviously."

"can't you be a little more gentle towards your brother?" he asks, getting a glass of water for himself.

i nod, giving him a smile as i tap on his shoulder.

"yeah," i brush down on his leather jacket and looked up at him, "fuck you."

i went up to my room, irritated by his presence and god knows how much i felt at ease as i look out the window and saw him heading off in a car with his friends. nothing new. as long as he's out of my sight, i'm perfectly great.
