chapter 20

Courtney POV

I'm in the waiting room she's in surgery
I have her blood on my hands I get up and go to the restroom I rub my hands to get her dried blood of my hands but I can't I keep scrubbing and scrubbing . Mari walks in "stop your going to hurt yourself." She says concerned .

I keep going so much blood I sob mari takes my hands and carefully washes them I cry in her shoulder .
We walk out everyone's waiting patiently for the doctor to tell us something and since were not family and her family hasn't showed up we have no idea what's going on .

My heads in my hands when I hear a deep male voice say "I'm looking for Olivia sui  where is Olivia sui I'm her father ."

The nurse says " she's in surgery she got shot in the shoulder but we think she will pull through but time will tell Mr.sui . please wait with the others." she points towards the squad .

They walk towards us "how could this happen ." Olivia mother say to her husband ..

Olivia's mom starts crying her father is being strong but I can see the sadness in his eyes . "where is William he was supposed to look out for her she's to innocent to leave by herself where's that child." Olivia's father asks his wife mad as hell .

" I don't know I'll call " her mom says

I listen to the phone call but its in Chinese she's crying and yelling at the person in the phone.

"He's coming in five minutes." She tells her husband trying not to cry.

Ian gets up "hi I'm Olivia's friend ." he tells them

"Hi nice to meet you ." her mother says.

"Um these are all of her friends." Ian introduced us.

"I'm sorry Olivia's only talked about one of you but I'm glad she has friends as a child she never had a lot except William." Her father says

An older boy walks in looking stressed and spots us and walks to her parents.

"Where were you when this happened ." her father yelled

"Sorry I was busy I thought she would be fine by her self ." he pleads

"You promised boy." He yells at this man and punches him.

We gasp "learn your place William you broke are trust after all we did for you what we asked one thing of you." He yells at the boy named William.

"I'm sorry uncle ." the man says.

Her parents walk away from us "hi I'm Courtney ." I say to him

He chuckles and says "the Courtney miller nice to meet you finally."

We all are confused I've never meet him or heard about him before from Olivia.

Noah speaks up " how do you know her name."

He chuckles again."Olivia spoke about all of you especially Courtney she couldn't stop talking that girl loves all of you guys ." I get butterfly's in my stomach and blush .

"Wait who are you ." boze says

"I'm William her cousin and long time friend ." he introduces formally.

"She never talked about you William." Noah says bluntly

He laughs darkly. "I don't blame her I am a bad person I would of been exiled from the family basically if it weren't for Olivia. she  loved me to much to ever be mad at me she was probley scared I would kill one of you." He laughs I laugh nervously .

The nurse comes "hi are you here for Olivia sui ."

"Yes." William says

" well she made it through she should be fine she'll be awake soon maybe 20 minutes her parents said you all can visit her they left to go do something you can go see her try to do five at a time please." The nurse says we thank her . William me Noah Shayne and mari go in to see her.

Olivia's POV

I start to wake up the lights to bright I groan I here gasps the lights go down .

I sit up I have things attached to me I ignore them
They look shocked and sad so I'm going to play a trick .

"Who are you guys ." I say confused

Mari gasps and tears go down Courtney's face I feel bad I'm about to tell them its a joke when..

William speaks up."don't be cruel Olivia its not funny ."

I giggle they looked shocked "got you." Courtney looks mad

"I'm sorry guys I just wanted to make you guys laugh I'm sorry ."
They smile a little . "its ok." They all say but William

"What are you doing here." I asked him

"What your not excited to see your best friend ." he says

I glare at him "your not my best friend .......your my brother ." I say

"That's what I thought little one ." he hugs me

"Now Olivia what have I told you about almost getting killed." He says seriously

"Well if I remember you said don't get killed because its a bad thing to do ." I say to him

He laughs " so why haven't you told any of your friends about me ."
He says

I look down "I forgot to." He sighs

"Oh where's James ." I asked concerned

"Why would you want to know where that asshole is ." William yells at me I flinch

"Wait you knew about him hurting Olivia." Courtney the love of my life said wait I'm not supposed to think that way Dame it .

"Yes its my fault ." He says sad

"Its not your fault Willy." I say

".YES IT IS ." he screams  and stands up I'm used to him acting like this I'm the only one who can calm him down.

"Willy come here its okay ." I hug him and whisper reassuring things in his ear I look up to see there looking at us I mouth I love you guys
They nod .

"Are you okay now will ." he nods

"Alright good where's my best friend ." I open my arms and Courtney hugs me I chuckle

"Wait I thought I was you're best friend ." William say with fake hurt Courtney steps back I miss her touch.

"I would pick her over you any day ." I say to willy.

He laughs with me

"So where's mother ." I ask

Like on cue my parents walk in "Olivia sui how did you get shot and why the hell where you in a cabin ." my father yells Courtney squeezes my hand reassuring me she's there

"Um how I got shots not important." I say the look really mad know

"Was it because of William again did you get  hurt because of him." My father yells

"No " I yell at him he mutters something and leaves my mother stays

"You're not mad at me are you mama." I ask

She shakes her head no.
