In the previous chapter, Star manage to persuade Marco to tell her his past, Marco is really hesitated and against it but in the end he gave in to her persuasion, after star heard everything from Marco, she realized that he's just been falsely accused for a crime that he didn't commit, Marco told star that it's not a big deal, what happen in the past stay in the past and as they heard the school bell rings, they headed to their classes and after school finished, they headed straight to home and was greeted by Marco's parent, as everything that happen slowing down and a new day await.
Marco wakes up from his slumber.
Marco: *yawn* huh it's 5 am already, *stretch* time to go for a run
Marco head toward the bathroom to take a bath and prep himself for a long run but star's wakes up from the noise of the shower.
Star: *yawn* who in their right mind shower at 5 am in the morning.
Star heads out from her room to see who's woke up early and saw Marco headed to his room and he's wearing his sport attires as he's about to leave his room.
Star: Marco, *mumble* what are you doing so early in the morning? *rub eye*
Marco: oh hey princess sorry that i woke you up, i just about to go for a run around town, it's what i do every weekend, you should head to your room and get back to sleep, a princess need their beauty sleep don't they.
Marco chuckle
Star: hey, i don't need a beauty sleep to be a princess.
Marco: ok princess, just go to your room and get some sleep OK, i'm gonna go for a run now
Star: hmm OK, have fun
Marco: will do princess.
Star: um Marco.
Marco: yes princess?
Star: you know you can just..*pause*
Marco: yes?
Star: *sigh* Never mind..
Marco: Okay then, see ya later
Star: later Marco.
Star head to her room and Marco gone out of the house but what Star about to say bothered him
Marco: is there something she want to tell me...nah it's probably nothing.
Marco started his morning jog around echo creek but Marco didn't know that there is something is watching them the whole time
???: so he runs around the town every weekend at 5 in the morning ey, i should tell this to the boss.
The Shadow figure open up a portal to another dimension then he arrived at a gloomy and sinister castle.
???: My Master *weird salute* , i have bring a new information on Star's bodyguard activity.
???: Excellent Buff frog, now tell me what that earth boy do.
Buff frog: yes master, the boy always go out for a run around town every weekend at 5 in the morning.
???: 5 in the morning! what he's doing so early in the morning? maybe he's scouting the perimeter ohoho he must've been looking for anything suspicious, clever boy.
