I dont get it

Touko kept twisting and turning in her sleep. It wasn't unusual though, she was probably having some sort of nightmare again.

Nowadays nightmares have become more reoccurring and frequent even throughout the day, not just in her sleep. Has her mental state gotten worse??

However currently, it was 3am in the morning, the confide room couldn't be any more dark on its own, although it was still seeable thanks to a  lampshade next to the patient's bed.

Touya was aware of this as he sat on a chair and observed her from the corner of the room, he was actually informed about this and was told not to do anything. Just let it happen until she woke up naturally.

However, he couldn't just sit there and see her suffer like that, she looked horrified out of her mind.

Touya began to slowly get up and walk over to her bed. Touko had become more restless to the extent that her actual bed had been making loud creaking sounds that could probably wake up other patients in the building.

He ever so carefully edges his hand closer to her shoulder and the slightest contact was enough to make Touko jolt up, practically breathing heavily and eyes shot wide open from fear.

This first made Touya jump but soon quickly fixed his posture.

Touya:"Are you okay? Do you need your inhaler, water?" He asked, extremely concerned.

Touko steadily turned her head to face Touya.

Touko:"Yeh... I'm fine. I just need something to drink, that's all."

Touya:"As I thought."

That was reasonable considering the fact how much water she had lost from sweating so much in her sleep.

Touya:"I understand, I'll go fill up your water jug right away!"

He grabbed the jug from the counter and left the room to get water.

Touko was now alone in a small, cramped area. But her mind kept telling her she wasn't by herself. She could hear voices... voices she didn't like or refused to listen to so she had her hands over both her ears.

Touko:"Ughh! Get out of my head!" The contest ringing wouldn't go, was she about to have a fit?

Later

Soon enough, Touya later came back with a jug full of water in a hurry. He set it down, got a cup for her and poured the water for her to finally drink.

She started to sip it slowly.

Touko:"Thank you..."

Touya:"Its fine, are you going to be able to fall asleep?"

Touko:"No, I'm too scared..."

Touya:"May I ask what you dreamt about." Touya thought the best way to relieve her mind was to talk about it with someone.

However for Touko, that wasn't the case, she didn't want to talk. She set her cup on the table and led laid back onto her pillow.

Touya:"I see... Well if you can't go back to sleep, is there anything I could do?"

She slowly got up and faced him.

Touko:"Could you turn the TV on and pass me the remote?"

Touya was happy to do so but before
closing the door so others from outside won't be woken up by the sounds coming from the TV, now switched on.

He gives the remote to his patient, got a chair and sat down next to her.

Touko was going through a couple of channels until she found a movie to watch being the genre of action/romance that she was intrigued by. She pressed play.

Touya has already seen this movie before so he wasn't much interested, so he instead got his clipboard and noted down the events that had happen today. A basic report.

An hour or so went by, Touko was still watching the movie in the comfort of her covers. Although Touya subconsciously fell asleep on where he was sitting.

While watching the movie, Touko would notice one thing that was in the majority of films she had watched before, why would two people connect each other's lips with their own and embrace so... passionately? It looked weird, mostly random if anything. She soon remembered that was referred to the term 'kissing'

Touko never understood why people do that or what significance it had.

Touko took one look to her right and realised Touya had just fallen asleep. He didn't get to see it. All she could do was stare at his peaceful expression.

Touko:"Hmmm... just what if...?"

Curiosity got the best of her, she leaned her body closer to the right side. The only thing supporting her was the rails attached the the sides of the bed. She then moved her head closer to his and gave him a kiss on the cheek. After a few seconds she stopped and just stared at him again.

Touko:"Nope, I still don't get it... what does it mean?" She whispered in his ear even though Touya couldn't hear as he was unconscious.

After, she glances back at the TV screen and wondered.

Touko:"I guess I just had my first "kiss" just like the girl in the movie... But I don't know why she's making a big deal out of it."
"I didn't feel a thing..."

Touko has basically lived in a hospital her entire life so she doesn't get much human interaction, not to say that she might be having some emotional issues... ALSO IM GOING TO CONTINUE THIS STORY👏👏
