Chapter 7

~Kassie Montee~

I woke up on the floor in Nialls apartment. He was in the bed awake.

"Hey did u get any sleep?"

he shook his head.

"Niall..."

"Im sorry, i was just watching to make sure he wouldnt come back..." his voice was scratchy.

he tried to sit up.

"Here let me help."

"Kassie, let me try on my own..." he glared at me.

i backed away and watched him.

"Im gonna go get ready then maybe ill take ya to a doctor. ya?"

he nodded.

"Be right back, do u have a key so i can lock the door?"

he pointed to his night stand, i grabbed the key and walked out.

as soon as i locked it, i ran up the stairs to my room to make sure that my dad wouldnt notice me.

As i was getting ready i changed my mind and decided to wear a black bando, a knitted tan crop top, black shorts and some tan hightop converse.

i put my hair up in a ponytail and applied some makeup.

i grabbed my car keys and left the apartment.

As i opened the door to Nialls apartment, I heard sniffles and crys.

I locked the door and ran to Niall he was on the floor.

"What happened?"

"I tried to go to the bathroom, but..." he said pointing to himself.

"Here." i walked him over to the bathroom then walked out and waited.

We were walking out of the apartment when i saw my dad.

"Kassie." he said not making i contact.

"Bitch."

I smiled walking away.

We got into the car and drove to the doctor.

"How much longer?" niall sounded like a little kid.

"Around this corner."

"I have never been to this doctor." he said kinda scared.

"Its fine.... they wont kill ya."

"Okay..." he said and looked away.

we walked inside, i wrote down his info and we waited. When the doctor called for Niall, Niall started to shake. I helped him to the room. then sat in the corner.

"Mr.Horan." the doctor said not making eye contact.

he nodded.

"What in dear happened?"the doctor spoke.

he was silent.

"Umm, its personal."

"And who are you?" he said pointed to me.

"Im Kassie, Nialls friend."

i saw niall look away.

"Girlfriend..." i smiled.

he smiled at me.

"Niall can u come with me so we can take some x-rays?" the doctor said.

he looked at me.

i started to get up...

"no, no, no, alone." the doctor said.

he shook his head and waited for me.

"Hes never been here, hes scared."

"Fine, come along." he said pointed the direction.

We were in the room waiting for the x-rays.

the door swung open.

"Niall Horan?"

Niall nodded.

"We have some news."

Niall nodded again.

Nialls girlfriend stood up nervous.

"Well, the x-rays came out very detailed. Considering how badly he was hurt is serious. He broke a few ribs. Those are easy repair. But he also had a brain damage."

kassies eyes watered.

"The brain damage Niall got can be cured if we do a surgery asap. If we wait longer than a week it can become permat.
