I don't own any character used in this story, they belong to Katsura Hoshino. I only own the story plot.

A white-haired male, around the age of fifteen, walked down a dark alley, a shortcut to his shared house. The house he shared with his master, who was either drunk or absent from their living quarters. His feet shuffled along the alleyway path, loose gravel pieces skirted along the ground. A heavy sigh passed through pale lips as silver eyes became glued to the ground a few paces ahead of himself. As he walked, a dark mass limped across the alleyway ahead of him. The teen slowed down as he approached the shape. It took a few moments for him to recognize the mass as a thin, black animal, a cat even. Its midnight fur matted with blood, creating darkened patches. Allen noticed the feline was hesitant to place any pressure on its left front paw and his lips pulled into a frown.

The albino walked closer soon greeted by the hissing as the cat glared at him. "I'm not going to hurt you, kitty. I just want to help," the boy insisted. Allen tried to sound as gentle as possible as he reached a hand towards the small animal. The cat tried reared up and attempted to scratch the hand, but ended up yelping due to trying to use its broken paw. Allen sighed followed by a soft, light chuckle before picking the cat up as it passed out. Gentle hands cupped the small creature - whose breathing was becoming labored. The white haired male carried the cat home and was careful when laying the small animal on the bed. Allen was soon going to get supplies to treat the injuries littering the feline's body.

Rinsing most of the blood off of the unconscious cat's coat perceived to be a difficult task. Allen worked to untangle the fur once the water ran clean. He was gentle when cleaning the wounds, trying to cause as little pain as possible. The feline whined in slight pain as Allen set the bone in his paw back in place and wrapped it up in a makeshift cast. He tested the stiffness of the cast by applying careful pressure. The white haired male added wrapping layers until he deemed the cast to be strong enough. After finishing, the male was careful when he proceeded to pet the feline. Thus causing the cat to produce a slight purr preceding his waking a few moments later.

The feline was slow to wake, blinking his eyes open as he looked up. Dark blue eyes narrowed when they caught sight of the boy from earlier. Realizing the other had dressed his wounds, the animal was slow to relax as he remained quiet. The feline watched with cautious eyes as Allen stopped petting him and laid down. The white haired male was quick to fall asleep. Once he was sure Allen was asleep, the cat stood up and with graceful caution, jumped off of the bed. He winced as he landed and put slight pressure on the broken paw.

He was slow to start wandering around the house, allowing his wounds to heal because of his curse. It had taken about twenty minutes for the cat to explore the majority of the living space. It was in the living room that the feline stumbled across a sleeping male, who reeked of alcohol and smoke. He gave a light, agitated growl and made his way back to the other room where Allen was sleeping. the cat's wounds had healed closed by now. Placing too much pressure on his paw still resulted in a throbbing pain, but it was not unmanageable. The feline was about to jump onto the bed, but stopped when he looked up and saw a golden cat staring down curiously.

He growled up at the cat before it jumped down and sniffed around the darker cat. He hissed and went to claw at the other cat before he became airborne up, "No! You can't attack Timcanpy," the white-haired teen said and he placed the dark feline on the bed. The animal growled and scratched the male's arm before turning and walking to the other side of the bed. The midnight feline glared at the human as he laid down and curled up, not trusting Allen. The last human he was with had abused him and left him outside for dead. He managed to escape the wild animals that roamed the streets, about an hour before the teen found him.

The dark feline hissed as the golden cat jumped on the bed and attempted to get close to him. He tried to attack Timcanpy, but the albino male smacked his head lightly and moved the other cat away. The dark cat glared at the teen in response to the reprimanding action. He then jumped onto the window sill and tried to bite the makeshift cast off of his leg. Allen walked over and helped get it off but ended up with his arms covered in bites and scratches. The teen sighed at the violence but stayed quiet while walking into the bathroom to treat his wounds. The white-haired male walked back into the room with his arms wrapped in bandages. The cat's eyes gazed at the now covered arms, guilt fleeting through navy eyes, almost as if he cared. The feline diverted his attention out the window, denying any thought of caring for the human.
