Up up and away I go
Off to a place you'll never know
It's amidst the stars that glow
Somewhere you'll never grow
And to my side
My faithful companion shines with pride
Onward we stride---
The second star to the right
This place is my paradies
Somewhere high in the skies
Where there are no rules
Where no adult fools
Here I am free
Here I am unwary
Here is where I'll be
For the rest of eternity
Forever in Neverland
A haven of mine
Forever in my hand
Is the ability to stop time
I will stay here
Away from adulthood fear
I will remain sincere
Away from Wendy dear
She cannot change me
Not my will to be free
Without school, fathers
Without cruel mothers
Foolish girl flies to her mother
She invites me to fly with her
She dares take me to a blur
She must know no better
Why would I ever leave?
Should her words be recieved?
Or does she plan to decieve?
When will I be relieved?
I sit and wait for answers that will never come
Wendy, darling, have you really gone?
As I stare outside her bedroom window
To my suprise, all happiness, she shows
No! I must be blind---
How could she possibly be happy?
To rules, she is forever bind
To that, she is never free
She chose this life over paradise
She chose these people despite my cries
She chose these walls despite my kingdom
She chose this misery over freedom
Yet, she smiles
Then, she laughs
Yet, I doubt
Then, I pout
Happiness is endless in the Neverland's grass
Happiness felt from head to toe
Yet here I am endlessly barred by window glass
From the only happiness I'll never know
Down down and away she goes
Off to a place everybody grows
It's amidst the city lights that glow
Somewhere I'll never go
