~Y/N P.O.V~
"Do you like it here?" I think out loud, seeing Josh and Simon both look up at me.
"It's so peaceful," Josh comments.
I agree, the soothing era, clouds moving at such a calming speed, the sun light constantly warming and making this whole place feel so relaxing. Like he said, it is peaceful.
"There's no responsibilities," Simon adds.
I agree, we don't attend school here, there's no nagging from parents, nothing we're forced into. Like he said, no responsibilities.
"But you didn't answer my question, do you guys like it here?" I repeat, glancing between them both.
"No," they say in unison.
"Why?" I ask, sighing.
"It'll never be like before," Josh states, looking down.
I agree.
"It's too... Different," Simon exclaims.
I agree.
Nothing is the same here, and I don't know if it'll ever be again.
---
My eyes slowly flutter open, a burning pain shooting through my whole body. It wasn't real, everything I dreamt, merely a figment of imagination. I know what happened to me, I remember everything straight away this time. Though what I don't know, is about Simon and Josh.
I look around the room, seeing something that definitely wasn't there before. A large, white blanket, with red stains, hiding something underneath it. My eyes widen at the markings. Blood. I feel tears start pouring down my cheeks, as I make assumptions to what the blanket is covering. I guess right. Josh and Simon, unconscious. Or worse.
Streams of salty water come flowing from both my eyes, at the very sight of them.
"Simon, Josh," I cry, shaking them a little. But they don't move.
"Simon! Josh!" I shout, pure pain ringing through my voice. "Why?!"
I notice blood marks on both their t-shirts, in exactly the same place. By their heart. It's almost ironic that their heart is the place they've been murdered by, however I'm alive and that is what my heart feels like right now. As much as they hurt me in the beginning, I truly love them both. Maybe in different ways, but that doesn't decrease my feelings for either of them. I love them more than anyone could even believe.
All I can do now is hope. Hope that they miraculously come back to life. Hope that someone's called the police for us. Hope that we're all found, alive and as well as possible. Hope that we remain together happily, for the rest of our lives, continuing to love each other forever.
But I shouldn't kid myself.
Nothing's going to happen.
Nothing...
