Chapter 1 his death

My grandfather was dying it was no big surprise he was very old but it was so sad he was my favorite member of my family he always told me the best stories I was the last person he he wanted to see before he died I walked over to his bed he smiled when he saw me and told everyone else to leave and said to me "will you sing to me one last time Mary?" I looked at him in tears he said to me "oh now don't you cry dear" I wipe away my tears "okay grandfather I will sing to you" he smiles I began "whenever I was frightened or ever felt alone I turn to the night sky a star I called my own somewhere I could run to just across the milky way if you like I can take you just a light-year and a day" he looks happy and then he closes his eyes and dies I look at him and say"Grandpa peter
