the lost boys look werided out when they see me standing there one askes "why is there a girl here peter?" peter says "she is our new mother" i become annoyed i ask him "what do you mean your "new mother" peter? " peter says "i always bring a girl here to be our mother usually i find a descendant of wendy but i liked you" i sigh and tell them "i am no ones mother" peter says "why not?" "i am 13 most women become mothers when they are a great deal older than me" peter says "whats age gotta do with anything?" i roll my eyes
i ask him "why did my grandfather keep that necklace anyway?"
"all lost boys do in case they want to come back" peter says
"come back from the mainland?" i ask
"yes when they decide they want to grow up" peter says
"why do they decide that?" i say
"no idea thats what a lot do even the original"
"the original what?"
"not in front of them" peter says pointing to the lost boys
