Renee's POV

While they were setting up in the back, I was shaping the meat. Ty got everything out the car and helped August with the barbecue when I finished with the meat, August came in and got the meat and went outside. He came back and asked me if I needed help. I said yes.

While we were shaping the meat.

Me: so what was all that about

August: I'm sorry i can't shape the meat good

Me: not that idiot. The whole u and champagne thing.

August: I didn't know why I didn't tell u.

Me: look, I don't want to be friends with benefits with u so let's pretend that it didn't happen okay.

August: but I don't want to pretend. I love u

Me: then why are u going out with champagne

August: bc I thought that it will make you jealous right from the start. Then i started to like champagne

Me: well it worked

Champagne walks in.

Champagne: don't worry August, I will help Renee so u can help Ty

August: I'm okay but I guess. Give you girls some girl time

He walks out and she starts helping me with the meat.

Champagne's POV

I came to help her out bc I don't want her and August talking after I found out he was trying to kiss her. She is not going to get my man so she better go somewhere.

Me: look stay away from his face

Renee: I know I shouldn't have even done that. Clearly he likes you

Me: and he will always will

She crossed my bad side but I don't know why I was taking up for August when I secretly date Ty. I was using august so I could make Ty jealous and I did. But I keep him around just for the money and to make Renee jealous.
