The SIU Team

Chapter three

After the news that Maddie would be joining Lewis' team, she had been briefed on the team members.

First, there was Agent Gregg, the handler.

Aged 42.

Real name: Lewis Gregg

Level: 9

Then there was Agent Davis

Aged 21

Real name: Steve Davis

Level: 8

Next was Agent Mason

Aged 22

Real name: Tyler Mason

Level: 8

Finally, there was the scientist Ross

Aged 20

Real name: Dani Ross

Level: 8 

And their newest recruit Maddie 

Aged 19

Real name: Madison Green (that was her families last name)

Level: 0

The trio walked onto the air strip. All planes were stationary for the moment, they were where they should be. They walked towards a black plane that was parked not far from the entrance to the main building. Standing outside the plane was Agent Mason and Agent Davis. Agent Mason was the only man Maddie had see who didn't have their hair gelled up. His could only be described as a messy bedhead. He wore the standard black outfit that Dani had said was used for firearm training. As they got closer, Maddie noticed his chocolate eyes glance over to her, studying her.

"Agent Mason, this is-" Agent Gregg was cut off.

"Madison, I know," He rolled his eyes and Maddie felt herself shrink back slightly at his response. Could she trust him? Agent Mason turned and walked up the loading ramp. "Wheels up in five." 

"Don't worry about him, he can be a bit," Dani trailed off. Maddie nodded in understanding, she had some experience with people similar to Tyler. Not all of it good. But Agent Gregg and Dani trusted him and Maddie trusted them two so why shouldn't she trust the other two? Oh yea, he doesn't seem to like me, She thought as she followed Agent Gregg, Agent Davis and Dani up the ramp. 

To say Maddie was surprised at what she saw would be an understatement. she was astonished at the sight before her. There were three levels to the jet. As you walked up the ramp, you had to enter the science lab to go upstairs. The science lab was filled with state-of-the art equipment and technology such as a holo table. Here, Dani presented Maddie with a phone and tablet. "They both are the latest models that SIU engineers have come up with. They have a built in tracker that shows up on the board and an S.O.S button in case anything goes wrong whilst on a mission or when out and about. I have placed every ones numbers in it so that if you need us, you can reach us,," Dani had said, passing the two to Maddie who nodded, trying to take everything in. At the back of the science lab was a glass, sliding door which led to a corridor where the medical lab and training room were situated. They walked up the stairs which led to the main living space. As you walked up, you entered a fairly plain corridor with two medium-sized rooms on your right.

"Those are for when we need to bring people in. It 's a one way glass so we can keep an eye on them but they can see us," Agent Gregg told her. They walked to the end of the corridor and turned left and walked through another glass, sliding door.  On her right sat a glass room which held another interactive board and holotable, the same as in the science lab, she was told this was the mission room. On her left sat five fairly small rooms, all conjoined but separated. Maddie was told that her room was directly opposite the mission room. At the far wall of the plane sat a modern bar and next to that was a simple and modern kitchen. On the wall opposite the rooms was three white couches, positioned around a glass coffee table. Next to them and the mission room sat another set of stairs. "They lead to my office, so if you ever need anything just knock," Agent Gregg said.
