Even though the two brothers and MC didn't live far apart, (they were living in an apartment complex on the same floor) Saeyoung didn't get to see MC and Saeran too much. He wanted to give the young couple privacy. MC was helping Saeran with his recovery and being supportive of his therapies.
It's not like Saeran needs me...
The older brother was happy that Saeran was getting better, he truly was, but part of him was... jealous? Saeyoung was jealous that that Saeran got all the attention, jealous of MC asking all the time how he was doing. He was heartbroken that on that day, the day he reunited with his twin brother, he hopelessly saw as MC ran towards... him. Saeyoung understood that his young brother needed someone to help him but he never thought MC would be the one to harbor deeper feelings. After that Saeyoung tried to keep his distance from MC while still being close with his brother. It was tough thing to do since he still loved MC.
I wonder if things would have been different if I told her that I was the one who needed saving?
