As soon i stepped onto the bus i was bombarded with questions from 4 extremely excitable and slightly drunk band members. Man i have to get used to this..
'Hey!' Jake said 'who's this? Andyyyy is this a new girlfriend?'
They all 'ooooohed' in unison
I blushed a deep red and stepped behind andy so i was slightly hidden. Being short had it's advantages you know.
'Guys guys guys! This is Allie. She's going to be staying with us. I'll explain later when everything is calmed down.' He turned to me. 'If you're ok with them knowing? I mean you don't have to tell them if you don't want to it'a totally up to you. I don't want to tell them things you don't want them to kno-'
'Andy' i said softly 'you're babbling. Its fine we can tell them later. Uh, is there somewhere i can freshen up? Its been a long day, what with the nearly dying a few times today.'
He smiled. 'Towards the back of the bus.'
'Uh thanks.'
I hurried to the bathroom and looked at myself long and hard in the mirror. I looked a mess and i realised that my makeup was still all over the place. I washed my face clean and applied only my eyeliner. Then i used one of the brushes that sat upon the shelf. I'm sure they wouldn't mind. The bathroom looked like girls inhabited it. There was makeup and hairbrushes and hairspray everywhere. The only sign of male attention was a pair of batman undies in the centre of the floor. They were obviously andy's.
I could hear them talking in hushed tones. I walked out and they all looked at me.
'Um.. Do you want me to go? Because that'a totally fine i can find somewhere else to go..'
Tears stung my eyes and threatened to spill out. No Allie don't. But i couldn't help it. No one wanted me.
Andy stood up and said. 'Of course we want you here. You're not going anywhere.' He stepped towards me and put his arms around me. I relaxed into him and hugged him back.
'So.. How about we watch batman?'
'Yeah!!' I replied a little too enthusiastically and blushed.
He chuckled.
We spent the rest of the night watching batman and other movies and we laughed and joked at eachother. I occasionally threw a few witty comments at the guys which ended with a face full of pillow. But i didn't care. I was happy. That night i fell asleep feeling safe and happy. Andy had his arm around me and i had my head on his chest. Damn he smelled so good. Ashley was sprawled across the sofa with his head on my stomach, and jake, CC and jinxx were lying willy nilly across the sofa. Jinxx was half on and half off the sofa with his head on the floor. I loved these guys, my saviours. They took me in when jake was more concerned about having his bones jumped by some other girl and left me alone. While my feelings whittled away from him, more feelings grew for someone else in my life. And i liked it.
