"Itchy. Itchy, stupid, right dress." I grumbled unhappily toward the inanimate dress, pulling it fabric up as I stared at the perfectly crafted dress I wore. Perfect face, fashionable baby blue dress, hair pulled into a tight bun like the majestic dancer on the stage I would be viewing tonight.

With a quick swoosh of my dress I dashed out of the room and towards the Employees Cabin. "Jasmine? Please, Jasmine." I called for her, gently slipping between the other employees. Their faces nice and warm, I made it a point to comment on their beauty and never carry myself at a higher level.

"Alice." I felt a soothing run over me as I heard her calming voice and saw her jasmine blouse and curly hair. "What is of your concern Youngin'?"

"I can't go through with this." I whispered as tears threaten to fall out of the brim of my eyes.

"Darling," she whispered as she tugged a stray hair behind my ear. "You can, you are a strong women. Your meeting this man and soon enough you will fall in love."

"Just like mother did father?" I sarcastically said, a slight hint of hatred in my voice.

"Alice. That's not fair."

"But isn't it? Your parents are your example for love, so where do I pull mine from?"

"My love for you." She whispered before pressing a gentle kiss on my forehead, she had raised me and cared for me. I thought of her as my mum, and no one could convince me that somehow our blood had formulated the same and we were related by soul. I could sense her dreams, desires and secret looks that revealed her thoughts unlike anyone else. While, I had always had an odd ability to always sense those things about people, my senses for her were stronger than anyone else.

"I love you, Jasmine."

"And I you." She whispered. "Just breath and you'll get through it."

Yes, I would get through it.
