Phil's POV

I look out of the forest into the world and see a ton of big metal boxes on really big and flat coconuts. I slowly step past the last tree of the forest and into the opening. Around me, there are a bunch of caves with see-through planks and a ton of humans walking angrily and yelling at each other. I step in front of a man and a woman who seem to be having a mean conversation with each other.

"Hi, my name is Phil. What is your name?" I ask.

The man and woman look at me with a mean look. They walk past me and I hear them start laughing. I begin to smile. They must like me.

I start to walk onward, exploring. I hear a loud beeping noise and turned to where the noise is coming from. I see big bright lights and stand still, staring at them. Wow, they're very bright. They seem to be getting closer. Suddenly, I feel a hard bump into my side. I look up just in time to see one of the metal boxes move past us. I look around and see a tall thin boy with brown curly hair.

"What is wrong with you? Why the hell would you stand in the middle of the street when there's a car coming?" the boy says to me in a really loud voice. He sounds angry.

"What's a car?" I ask, confused.

"Something that takes you places."

"What's a street?"

"Something the cars drive on."

"I'm Phil. What's your name?"

"Dan."

"Are you mad at me?"

"No, you're just really stupid."

"How?"

"You ran in front of a moving car!"

"Was that bad?"

Dan puts his face into his hand and slightly shakes his head.

"Of course it was bad. You could've been killed!"

"I'm sorry," I look up at Dan with small tears forming in my eyes.

"No, don't cry," he say, putting an arm around my shoulders.

"Ooh, shiny," I say, standing up to walk the same way I was walking before Dan pushed me. I see a man spinning a weird looking shiny metal object.

"Get back here, dumbass," he says, grabbing my arm and pulling me back to him.

"But it's shiny," I whine.

"That's a pocketknife. It could hurt you," he says, holding my arm. It's like he's trying to keep me from going toward the shiny.

"Shiny can't hurt me," I say.

"Well, I should go home now. Do you have a place to stay?"

"No, I live in the forest."

"You can stay with me at my house."

"Thank you very much. Where do we go?"

"Come on," he says, walking to one of the metal boxes.

I reach out to grab his hand but he pushes my hand away. Does he not like me? He pulls out a metal board that's somehow connected to the metal box.

"Get in," he says, getting inside the box.

It's eating him!

"I don't wanna be eaten," I say.

"What are you talking about?"

"It's eating you and I can't get in because I don't wanna be eaten."
