We were sitting in the living room with her playing with my hair sleepily. Instead of getting drowsy I caught myself staring at her.
“You are beautiful.” I blurted that out.
That made her sat up straight and looked at me as if I just said something quite unusual, “w-what...?”
I was stupid and still am.
Instead of answering her, I grabbed her hand and pulled her to me while leaning closer to her face.
