Mad Max's driver drove him and May to his house on Broadway Street, May was enamoured by the sheer size of the house. Max Harvey was definitely from a wealthy family. The driver pulled up the Rolls Royce that drove upon the white pebble gravel near the front door of the Harvey residence

"Thanks Billy, you can go home now." Max thanked Billy the driver as he was the first person to step out of the car. The gangster then walked around the car over to May's side and opened her door.

"Welcome to my humble abode, Miss May Hart." Max said as he took out his hand for May to take as she got out of the Rolls Royce. May giggled when she was helped out of the car, Max Harvey sure knew how to treat a lady in his company. Mr Kent Harvey would roll in his grave if he found out that his second son mistreated a lady in his company. The Harveys were stickler to the gentleman code and ensured that every male in the family was a gentleman.

Max smiled when he saw that May was enjoying the treatment that he was giving her as she walked up the stairs of the ancestral Harvey house. A butler opened the large black door that had gold features upon it.

"Good afternoon, Mr Harvey." The butler appeared to be jovial as he greeted the Master of the House of Harvey. Max chuckled good humouredly before he made a tutting sound, his butler's face fell. The elderly man looked like he had swallowed a fish bone of some sort. May stifled a laugh at the butler's face, he had obviously seen his master brand his victims.

"Gary, what I say about such formalities? It's Max and I prefer to be called Max. I am not my father." Max smiled which the butler looked relieved at the fact that he wasn't going to get into trouble for his mistake calling the dark-haired man by his surname. May chuckled, the sound of May's soft laughter was music to the gangster's ears and he smiled at her.

"My apologies, Mr-.. Max." The butler croaked out before he led the pair into the sunroom where Max's company were waiting for his return. Max was wearing a cream suit with a tinge of black added to it and it suited him perfectly well. He was harmless at this stage with his house that was clear of his activities that obviously took place outside of the house.

When Max brought May into the sunroom, four men stood up as they saw their leader entering the room with the lady on his arm. The four men were close when it came to their fashion, they wore well-tailored suits along with shiny shoes. That led May to speculate that Max did like his men to be looking good on their crime duties.

May was shy when she felt five sets of eyes upon her. She felt like she was a prize that was waiting to claimed by the five men in the sunroom. Max began to speak, May was relieved that Max broke the silence. The foreboding silence made May feel like the men were about to hurt her in some form but breaking of the silence by Max, it made things at least bearable for the young seamstress. Her situation may not be good since The Grim Reaper had his eyes set on her but being in the company of Mad Max and his men made things at least tolerable.

"Gents, I have May with me. Before we do anything, May will be here all the time and if any of ye lay a hand on her, I will make ye wish that you're a dead man. Got it?" Max was serious, he wanted May feel that she was safe in his house. His men nodded respectfully before a man of a small stature cleared his throat.

"May, is that you?" the youthful voice of Archie Rawlings spoke as he looked at May with surprise that was etched into his face.

May's eyes widened that one of Mad Max's men recognised her. Then, she was surprised at the man and quickly recognised him as her childhood friend whom she played with on Getting Street.

"Archie?" May's face lit up as she saw the small man smile the war he did when he used to be a cheeky boy in May's company.

"Oh May, it's so good to see you!" Archie beamed with delight and began to make his way over to her and Mad Max.
