I sighed there in my ship as I saw the bar in front of me. This was the place I decided to stop at. A place filled with tyrants and convicts of all types.

My parents would definitely not search here. They wouldn't believe their darling Adara would ever set foot in a place like this.

I scoffed remembering them as I strapped on my boots and cd Walkman, at least that's what my father called it. I tied my cape, and my necklace caught my eye. The necklace my father gave me with a stone from our planet. The pitch black stone was lit with an eternal flame.

"You're doing the right thing, Adara," I squeezed it and tucked it under my shirt.

I flipped my hood covering my head, slid my gun into its holder, and jumped out of Presley and locked her. I didn't make any eye contact with the people around me. That's a thing I love about my cape, my face is hidden from those around me.

I pushed the doors open of the bar and made my way to the crowded bar. I sat down on a vacant bar stool, and sighed as I put down my hood.

The centaurian bar tender approached me, "what will it be?"

"Liquid fire." I replied and he went on to make the drink. I pulled out my necklace and began to stare at it as the flame slowly danced.

After everything. Everything my parents have done not only for the people of our planets but for our family means nothing to me anymore. I can't look at them the same.
