Chapter 2

Matt's POV:

My first day of school was surprisingly good for being a new kid. I mean, I met Bethany. She is so beautiful and I never thought anyone that beautiful would talk to me. She told me she doesn't have any friends because she's shy and nerdy. Which I find hard to believe. I also met some other people like Nash, Cameron, Carter, Shawn, Hayes, Taylor, Jack G., Jack J., and Aaron. I really like them, they also make vines which is crazy. But at lunch I couldn't believe that Bethany has been in the same grade as them for years and they had no idea. I'm sure they would get along great.

I got home from school to find my mom in the kitchen.

"Hey mom" I said walking in.

"Hi sweetie, how was the first day of the new school?" she asked sipping her coffee.

"It was good, surprisingly, I actually made some friends!" I told her.

"That's great honey." she said.

"I'm going upstairs to do homework" I said leaving the kitchen while she nodded.

I got upstairs and did my homework and finished around 10pm then got ready for bed. Before I went to bed I texted Bethany.

"Goodnight Bethers".

Bethany's POV:

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

UGH! School. At least its Friday. I swing my feet over the bed and they touch the fuzzy floor. I go over to my doc and start playing some music. Then headed into the bathroom.

I started to sing along to Lana Del Rey's song National Anthem.

I go into my closet and grab my favourite romper, its a floral one. I go into the bathroom and apply concealer and some mascara. I decided that my hair looked good natural today so I left it. I grabbed my bag and went down stairs to eat cereal. HONEY BUNCHES OF OATS BABY!

After I'm done eating, I go into the bathroom to brush my teeth, then head out the door to my car to go to school.

I arrived at school and headed to my locker. I grabbed my books when I shut my locker I jumped a little.

"Matt, oh my god, you scared me!" I said scared.

I see him doubling over in laughter.

"Its not funny" I say pouting.

"Aww I'm sorry" he said teasingly.

"hmmm" I said turning away.

"Bethers" he dragged out.

He came behind me and hugged me, causing butterflies in my stomach to erupt....wut?

"Please don't be mad. I is sowwy." he said.

"Its fine, just don't call me Bethers" I told him sternly.

"But I like Bethers" he said smiling.

I glared at him.

He put his hands up in surrender.

"Ok, sorry sorry" he said.

"What are you doing this weekend?" Matt asked.

"Nothing, why?" I asked looking up.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my house after school?" Matt asked me nervously.

"Yeah sure" I say smiling.

Ok, great!" says Matt.

We went to lunch and sat with the guys again.

"Matt wanna hang after school?" Shawn asked him.

Great. He will probably ditch me for them but whateves.

"No sorry, I have plans already" he said looking at me.

I was shocked. I thought he was going to ditch me.

When the school day ended I saw Matt waiting by my locker.

"Hey! You ready to go?" he asked.

"Yeah. I brought my car so I'll just follow you." I told him.

"Ok" he said.

I walked to my car and he walked to his. I started to follow him until we reached his house. I parked and got out of the car.

"My mom left a note saying she will be back late." Matt told me.

"That's ok" I said.

"We can go up to my room, follow me" he said.

His room was surprisingly clean for a 17 year old boy.

"Take a seat anywhere you like" he said as he sat at the edge of his bed.

I walked towards him to sit next to him but fate had a different plan. I tripped over my toe and fell right on top of him.

"Ummm, sorry" I said awkwardly.

"You have really pretty eyes!" he blurted. His face then got really red.

"Sorry" he said.

I got off of him and sat next to him.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" he asked.

"THE NOTEBOOK" I blurted really loud covering my mouth blushing.

"Sorry" I said embarrassingly.

"No its ok we can watch that" he said chuckling.

We sat against the bed rest and the movie started.

Matt put his arm around me and smiled. I smiled back. I love his smile. I could stare at him all day. Ok, so I have a little crush on him but who wouldn't? Right?

I was suddenly really tired and the last thing I remember was falling asleep on Matt's shoulder.
