I was sitting in the back of the car, my heart pouding in my chest. How was this happening? It almost seemed impossible that after all my family had been through with the death of my mother, that this would be topping that. We had been kidnapped by our father, and now we were being kidnapped by these brothers.

"Are you OK?" The one brother, whose name was Ritchie said to me, his hands cupped in his lap. He seemed out of it, as if maybe he didn't want this either, but I doubted that.

"I'm fine." I said harshly, pulling myself upright so I was looking into his eyes. They were a strange color, hazle but like nothing I had seen before.

"You know, your father" He said, pointing up front to my father, whom was driving like a good little servant to the boarder.

"Yeah." I shifted uneasily, waiting for him to speak. He was a strange one, he knew things about me that I had never told him, that I had never told anyone. He knew my mother had migrans, he knew about the fights I had with my dad. He scared me due to this, but in some ways I was intrged. Maybe he was just good at reading people, I thought.

He moved closer to me, breathing on my exsposed neck, I looked around the van for my brother, bt he was up front with my father and the other brother, discussing something about the road. "He didn't kill your mother. I can feel it." He said, leaning back into his seat. I shifted away from him, not respoding, "you are afraid of me." He stated, "You don't have to be, I won't hurt you."

I took a deep breath, I wanted to go home, "I bet that's what you tell all the girls." I managed to choke out.

He looked at me seriously, "no, if I say something, I keep my word. You will get out of this, I promise." My eyes narrowed, there was a truthfullness to his words, and I belived him.

"You know, I belive you." I said, leaning towards him, "about the phycic thing." I smirked, feeling slightly better about the situation.
