Gray woke up and realized that Natsu had spent the night. They had both fallen asleep on Gray's couch. Gray couldn't help but smile at Natsu.
Natsu chest rose and fell softly, and he was drooling slightly. His pink hair blocked his eyes, and he was curled in Gray's lap. Natsu had a pretty feminine body, considering how much he worked out, but that hardly disappointed Gray. Gray loved everything about Natsu and his body.
His rock-hard chest, his abs, Gray especially loved Natsu's legs. His perfect hips, and his cute little ass, which, despite all the working out, was still round.
That's right. Natsu has a bubble butt.
However, something caused Gray too stop smiling. His heart sank in his chest, feeling like it was ready too disappear.
Natsu shirt had been pulled up in his sleep, revealing Natsu's chest. It had been pulled up just enough too see the scar from where Natsu had gotten his heart transplant surgery.
Before he cursed out loud, Gray repositioned Natsu on the couch, and made his way too the window where his cigarettes where left the night before. Careful not to wake the sleeping Dragon Slayer, Gray lit up his cigarette and breathed in as much smoke as he could. Must have only been going at it for two minutes, before Natsu woke up.
"Gray," Natsu whined, "that smells really bad. You need an air freshener."
Gray rolled his eyes, ignoring Natsu's complaining, but watched as Natsu got off the couch and stumbled into the kitchen.
"I'm gonna have breakfast here, then I should get back to home before Happy realizes I'm not home." Natsu said.
Gray watched Natsu go through his pantry and pull out a box of cereal.
Natsu sniffed it and frowned. "Is this oats? Come on, I just had surgery I want sugar!"
"Then buy some yourself." Gray said.
"I don't think they let you smell the cereal before buying it." Natsu said out loud, more to himself then Gray.
Gray sighed and put out his cigarette. He walked over to the fridge, pulling out a bottle of milk. Gray poured the cereal and milk, then sent it on the table. "There. Eat."
Natsu walked over to the table and sat down.
"The spoon's-"
"I got it!" Natsu growled.
Gray's eyes widened before he realized that he was being a little in insensitive. Natsu wanted to show he wasn't useless, and if Gray, or anyone for that matter, continued to baby him, then he'd never get back to normal.
Natsu reached around until he felt metal. Natsu wrapped his fingers around the spoon and twirled it in his hand so he could eat.
Gray fixed himself a bowl and sat across from Natsu. While he ate, he watched his boyfriend carefully.
"Are you staring at me?" Natsu asked after he finished.
"No." Gray lied.
Natsu raised an eyebrow, "You're lying."
"How do you know?" Gray challenged.
"I may not be able to see your face, but with you, Gray, I can always tell when you're lying." Natsu stated simply.
Gray smiled softly.
Natsu grinned at Gray's silence, and finished his breakfast. "I should head back home."
Gray swallowed down his cereal and stood up. "Let me take you back."
"No thanks." Natsu frowned, "I can find my way back."
"I don't doubt you can't," Gray replied, "but it's gonna take a while until you can make your way home at a decent time again, and Happy could already be awake."
"So?" Natsu asked.
"So, you dumbass, if you don't get home soon, he'll freak out." Gray said.
Natsu said nothing, knowing that he had a good point.
Gray picked Natsu up bridal style and carried him to his house. When they got to the house, none of the lights were on, which Gray took as a sign that the exceed wasn't awake yet.
"Let me in through the bathroom window." Natsu said.
"Why?"
"Cause I have to pee."
Gray circled the house until he got to the bathroom window. Setting the Dragon Slayer down, Gray pulled the window open. "Do you always leave it unlocked?"
"Sometimes I sneak out too sleep on the roof or at Lucy's, and when I come back I have to pee and don't want to wake up Happy." Natsu explained.
Gray rolled his eyes and helped Natsu climb into the window. Before he had the chance to leave, Natsu kissed Gray one more time, before crawling into the bathroom and shutting the window.
