Dacia had a son, Marcus, who was two years older than Dakota, but he passed away because of the drugs no one knew he was taking except Dakota. Dre and Marcus were best friends. So Dre was impacted the most when he recieved the news that his brother was no longer alive. They did everything together an talked about everything together. Marcus was like a father figure to Deandre. One day Dre came home from school, in a happy mood. He was ready to play 2K with his brother.
" MARCUS ! Want me to smash you in 2K again ?" Dre said.
" He not here right now, baby. " His mother exclaimed.
" Then where he at? " Dre said.
Thats when Dakota burst through the front door in tears screaming and asking her momma if it was all true. Her mother couldn't do anything but hold her in her arms and whimper with her. While all of this was going in Dre was looking at them both like what the hell is going on. That's when he got scared and pulled Dakota away and asked what was going on. She looked towards her mom.
Dakota said " you didnt tell him? "
