''Hurry up!" Y/bf/N yelled from the living room downstairs. I finished up my very natural makeup look then put on my shoes and ran downstairs. "Ugh why do we even have to ride with them? The theater is about a ten minute walk from here" . Y/bf/N sighed and said "you're such a downer, plus it'll be fun. Matt said his friend Shawn came along. You remember him right?"
"Yeah, yeah I do" I said walking out with her. "How could I not remember him" I thought. He was tall, gorgeous brown curly locks, and his eyes...
"Y/n!!!" She yelled. I snapped back to reality and said "what?"
"They're here" She said as she walked over to the black jeep. Y/bf/n went over and hugged Matt and pecked his lips. Two other of Matts friends came out the car until finally Shawn came out. I smiled and went over to greet them.
Matt got in the car and said "uh someone will have to ride on someone's lap in order to fit"
I felt my cheeks getting red as I saw both of matts friends getting into the car leaving only one spot open and me and Shawn out of the car. "Uh are you..." I said as he got into the seat and I sat over on his lap. I looked at him in the eyes and felt my cheeks get even more red then before.
Shawn pov: I looked at y/n and couldn't help but notice she was blushing. I smiled and hoped she wouldn't notice me staring at her. She was so beautiful without trying.
I felt Shawn place his hand on my leg and it felt as if my skin was going to burn off. I bit my bottom lip and and took a deep breath. The whole car ride we were silent until we got out. Matt parked and everyone got out. Everyone started walking except for Shawn. I felt a tug on my arm and noticed it was him. His cheeks were shaded pink and said "y/n"
I turned around and looked at him confused "yes?" His amber eyes focused on mine, "I know we've only met each other a couple of times but I really like you, you're so sweet...kind...beautiful"
I heard the words rolling out his tongue and smiled "I really like you too Shawn..."
He hugged me tightly and I gave in. We separated and Our hands intertwined as we walked into the theater.
"Popcorns on me" he said with a wide grin.
