Too Hard Chapter 6

*Jerome's POV*

I couldn't fall asleep knowing that I'm going to have to keep a secret from my best friend! We never lie to each other, we tell each other everything! This will be hard! So in the middle of the night, I'm wondering how I'm going to tell Mitch that me being a Bacca is fake. Then the idea hits me.

(SKIP THE NIGHT!)

(Still Jerome's POV)

I wake up before Mitch does, so I get up and put 3 nails on the floor. I hope this works! He finally wakes up. "Mornin' Mitchy Poo!" I say in a loud whisper. "Morning." He mumbles. He sits up. "Ohhhhh, OUCH!" He yelps "Look what your Bacca claws did to me!" This is where the lying starts. "What are you talking about Biggums? What do you mean Bacca claws?" I say confused in a fake way. "You don't remember yesterday?! When you morphed into a Bacca? You sliced my back!" I try to look confused hoping he won't find out on lying because he always does. I have to reply to keep up the illusion. "No, what really happened yesterday was that we were racing to the bed, you tripped over that shoe (points to shoe behind him) and fell, back first, sliding against the carpet the over those nails (points to nails in front of the shoe) then you went unconscious, but only over night. I knew you would be fine, believe me! And look now, you are!" I look into his perfect caramel eyes, shining like the suns reflection over the ocean. Then I cross my fingers hoping he doesn't find out that I'm lying this time, because like I said, he always catches me. "Well that makes much more sense! It must have been a realistic dream! Ha, I dreamed that we were about to, you know, do it because I told you that I loved you then you agreed, so, ya. Anyways, then you got, like, sexually aggressive and started turning into a real life BACCA! That's what made me think that that's how I got my scratch! So you call the doctor and that was the fluid that he injected wrong in you, and WWWOOOO!!!!! Dreams, huh Biggums." I was really surprised, he really remembers! geez. "Well, it's not real." And that's all I had to say. Wait, then that means that we aren't in love yet because that was I the fake dream. Now would be the perfect time to tell him I love him. But how?

*Mitch's POV*

I was relieved to figure out that Jerome wasn't really a Bacca, but there was concern in his face. I don't know if he's Lying or not because him being a Bacca is like a fairy tale. To be honest though, I liked the part when we figured out we love each other. I still love Jerome! I wish that part was real. I look at Jerome, he's thinking about something. I don't know what. I will tell him how I feel, I will tell him I love him, and it will happen now! I stand up slowly in pain and work my way towards him. He looks at me and a look at him. "No Biggums, sit." and he plops me down at the edge of the bed. "Ok fine, but can I tell you something?" I had to ask him "Of course Biggums! Anything!" He has this exciting look on his face and that brightened up my morning! "Um... How do I say this? Um.....

Right after I say you he grabs by face and starts kissing me. I kiss back, and I get control. He doesn't move slow, but try's not to move fast. I pull him in closer by grabbing his hips. I'm enjoying out make out session, hoping this is NOT a dream.

*Jerome's POV*

Mitch and I are making out, he made it really easy for me because I couldn't figure out how to tell him I love him! When I heard the words 'Love You', my first instinct was to go kiss him and show him physically that I love him too. Thank god I don't have to lie to him about this! Then I feel my claws coming. He can't figure out, again, I barely saved myself this time, can't imagine next time! This can't be a dream either! I slowly pull away to relax and I feel my claws go back in. "Lets go have breakfast." I whisper close to his lips "Ok" He says and gets up.

We start to get ready, he has his jeans and plad shirt and I have my suit and tie. I look in the mirror. I blink once, my eyes are brown, I blink twice, they are purple, the third blink, they're normal. It's going to be hard to keep this a secret. Too Hard.
